82k tic missed at a keep because of 2 freezes

PC na is pretty ok. PS4 na is terrible. Sometimes you can play an hour or so before you freeze and sometimes you freeze as soon as you port to a keep. But you always freeze. Always.

PC/NA Sotha Sil - Have been experiencing very small freezes either coming up to a battle at an outpost or moving towards a door. No crashes though and it was very short freezes like a couple of seconds or so. It only happens occasionally - for now.

I'd like to know also. I play on PC/NA/Vivec and I get very little lag, freezes or disconnects. It happens a few times a week, maybe. Yesterday, Sunday, my group played from 3pm est to 8 pm est, during peak hours and had no real problems, (we lagged a couple of times during large scale keep battles.)

I live in New England, maybe we just have better internet there. I do know if you're connecting through wi-fi, you will have more freezes, lag and disconnects then if you're using an ethernet wired directly into your PC. As for Xbox and PS players.... (sigh) you guys are screwed.....sorry.

I uninstalled. I keep tricking myself into trying to pvp and I keep getting angry when I can’t, there’s no point playing a game that leaves me frustrated and disappointed

When you successfully defend a keep against an attack, you get Alliance Points (AP). The moment when your AP reward comes in is the "tick".
Depending on how large-scale the attack was, and how much stuff (killing, sieging, healing...) people did during the siege, the AP reward gets higher. Base reward is c. 6k (or 5k?), I think, so getting 96k AP for defending a keep against an attack is a pretty huge deal.

How to get those numbers: On PC-EU/Sotha Sil yesterday, it seemed like the whole EP population was attacked at Aleswell (iirc) by the whole DC. Or close to it.

I'm not sure what the defence tick was but I assume it was pretty substantial.

How are you guys getting such high ticks? I play on console and rarely see anything above 20k in Vivec. Either the defenders get steamrolled or they end the attack pretty quickly...I rarely see long battles anymore.

I got a tic for 150k in Vivec.

Is this a console- only problem?

On PC I noticed I can even leave cyro or log off and still get any "last missing AP". Not sayin there isn't something going on, just maybe its linked to specific plattform rather then a universal problem?

I think it is primarily console, but the code is unraveling on PC now too, so some smaller numbers are experiencing it on your end as well.

There is no player testing for console, so they throw this stuff out there without having even the faintest idea how it will perform under real-time circumstances, and then wait 3 weeks to release a "fix", then another month to release a fix for the original fix because the original fix made it worse, all because they refuse to pay for a console-PTS or pay for the expedited patch approval from Microsoft and Playstation. It's all pretty messy and unfortunate, because this is such a beautiful game with so much potential.
