For a few months now I can't "save" screenshots anymore. After pressing the screenshot key the notice on the top corner of the screen, which indicates the folder, still showes up but the folder itself remains empty. Haven't had problems with this in the past. Any Ideas?

I at least don't know about any addon that blocks screenshots. But I will look into it. Thanks. Any usual suspects in that matter?

Have you tried rebinding the screenshot key?

    Hello!

    Maybe AVG ransomware protection.

    Hello!

    Maybe AVG ransomware protection.

I can see the headline! Gamer held ransom by MMO screen shot!

In seriousness, that is actually a valid point. If some Anti-Malware code has decided that the screen shots are malware, and it uses virtualization technology, the screen shot may be written to the "safe" place where it cannot do harm. Check the anti-virus programs.

    Thanks for the hints, guys.
I deactivated all add ons, didn't worked.
So yes, could very well be my AVG. I played around with a few options but still didn't managed to find a solution.

Try to deactivate the entire AVG and take a screenshot.

It's the ramsonware module. You must create a rule to ignore eso64.exe
