Should have made a smarter investment. That’s like people wanting a refund or a re-do on who you’re 401k retirement plan is with. Once you pick company A and commit to it for years, you can’t just switch over and claim you want the benefits of company B’s 401k plan as soon as you switch.

@sekekama21554 show me a $500 PC build, display and peripherals and OS included, that will play ESO at reasonable quality and you might have a point.
You can build a Ryzen 2200G machine with 8 or 16GB of RAM, a 1050ti or 1060 (if you find a deal), a 1TB HDD, with a cheap PSU and case for somewhere in the neighborhood of $600 ... but it's a pretty low end machine and you'd still have $250 or so to go to get Windows, a monitor, a mouse and keyboard. And performance would be pretty poor with that setup.
And besides, for most console ESO players the cost of the console is a sunk cost. They already owned it. They didn't buy it just to play ESO.
God, I have so longed to transfer over to PC I had a lengthy conversation with support about this a year ago, but was of course shot down. I still would love to change platforms, but I am not willing to loose all my progress and money spent on the PS4. ESO is the only thing really that I keep my PS4 for now....all my other games are on my gaming PC. Shame at the time ESO was released I never owned a PC strong enough ):
