Hi all,
I have a DK and NB alt that I want to level alliance rank to 7 so I can unlock all the skills. Problem is I dont enjoy pvping with these 2 characters so i want to get there as quickly as possible.
Is there a build that would help me with AP gains? I know spamming Rapid Regen in a zerg is helpful, is there anything else that I can do to speed it up? And skills or gear set up?

Skinzz✭✭✭✭✭Just be proficient in killing enemy players and play in a small but strong group. I dont care what anyone says but you will get more ap if you simply kill everything you see and collect dticks.Anybody got a group? LFG, anybody? Hello?2 -

That post has few suggestions for what to do. As for builds my PvE and PvP are very different. You will want your gear to be impenetrable as much as possible so you can stay alive longer. Watch a few videos for PvP builds for each class and then try out the ones closest to your play style.PUG Life - the true test of your skill

✭✭stam= bow/resto staff. Stand on keeps and tag all enemy's.
magic=destro/resto. tag all allies with heals and enimes with a force pulse.
You have to go to the most populated server, stick to defending castles.

Asata✭✭✭lol, build. You don't need a build. Just find the biggest zerg your alliance has going at any given time and join them. Pew pew as many enemies as you can. You don't need to kill anyone, just get a hit in. As long as someone else on your team kills them you'll get the AP for it.
If you want to actually contribute and do well, and actually maybe take one or more people on yourself then a build can be useful. But really, if all you want is AP then it really doesn't matter.
Most people tend to use 2H/Bow in PvP, and animation canceling helps.
Arrow spray with a bow, wall of elements with a staff, maybe just light attack with bow. Whatever you can do to tag as many people as possible, that's what you want to do if you're after AP.
Even if you aren't really all that good at tagging people as long as you're with a group and close to the killing you'll still get AP. You get good AP when you take keeps and other stuff too. The longer the siege with the more people involved the more AP you'll get.
If your DK is a tank you're in luck. Gear it up with Storm Knight and just be as defensive as possible. The broken as F armor will kill everyone for you.Edited by Asata on August 27, 2016 1:41AM1 -

As far as "Tagging enemy" goes. Can i do this with Caltrops? Or is that too little damage, it seems to cover biggest area so it will be easier to tag? but it does liek 15damage lol0 -
Beruge✭✭✭The delves in cyrodil has bosses in them. Kill a boss, get an ap boost of 20%(?) for an hour. Sticks with you even if you die. Defending keeps is a good way. After a successful defence you will recieve a defending tick within about a minute since the last enemy died. Most people leave the keeps/resources/outposts way to soon, leaving a bigger tick for everyone wise enough to stay and wait.
Another way wich is my favourite is taking a resource deep in enemy territory with some friends and kill as many enemies as possible.
Edit: And if you are looking for earning for the only reason to gain the support and assault lines faster, without thinking about having lots of points. Buy wall and door repair kits - and use them.Edited by Beruge on August 27, 2016 7:10PMMy youtube channel: Beruge Casualgaming1 -

ANYTHING that puts you as participated in the extermination of an enemy will work.
So carpet the world with caltrops if that's what you can use the most/best.Xbox NA0 -

I know. Damn us for keeping enemy players away from the front lines. Both lowering the lag in those areas and letting our allies having less resistance to push forward so it might change the tide of war in some situations... Really ashamed as well for keeping an area under attack for an hour and seeing the amount of enemies coming getting bigger and bigger - and still managing to keep the resource.My youtube channel: Beruge Casualgaming0 -

✭✭If you're new to pvp and don't enjoy it, just type lfg in chat. Be sure that you join a really large zerg (at least 1 maxed out group), since smaller pug groups get wiped more often which means less ap ticks.
Then just follow your group around, if you want to help you can buy sieges/forward camps or try to heal your groupmates.
This is a very consistent way of getting ap, it's how most people get emperorship. Boring but effective.

Step 1: Try to predict where opposing alliance will attack next
Step 2: Defend that keep or resource. Preferably a level 5 keep. Make sure people die.
Step 3: Defend it for as long as possible
Step 4: Enjoy huge defensive ticks.0 -
Gundug✭✭✭✭✭If you are able, battlegrounds give relatively painless and decent AP, and since it’s small scale, if you do well, you can feel like you actually helped your team. They usually average out to around 1k AP per minute.0

✭✭Defend keeps. Insane amounts of AP for that nowadays. When I only PvPed for vigor and caltrops I just ran my PvE build; but fell in love with PvP. You should run whatever is meta for your class and give it a serious go. Join a guild and learn some basics. Then build off that and theorycraft your own build. Make some PvP buddies and get good.
The only reason you probably hate PvP is because your build isn’t set up for surviveability. You die too much in short. Live and kill someone and you’ll come to love it.0 -
