Hi everyone,

Time to share my new Stamina Sorc PVP build for Summerset: BRUTALITY. This build can eviscerate enemy players in just a few seconds if you line up the burst combo correctly. Movement and Survivability is also very good leading to few if any deaths. Read on - Stam Sorc FTW!

Race/Consumables

RACE: The clear choice for PVP Stam Sorc is Orc. Not only do we get the extra health and stamina, but health recovery and healing received help us survive. Melee damage bonus is a no brainer, and the speed boost and sprint cost reduction really helps since we are running 5 pieces of heavy armor on this build.

FOOD/DRINK: Tri-Stat food is required for this build to create a high magicka pool. Magicka is key for the build to enable dark deal and rune cage.

Potion: SPEED. Since we are running heavy armor we are inherently slower (no medium armor boost). Speed/stamina potions will help counteract this. If you can afford it, SPEED/STAMINA/IMMOV. Is ideal. The 10 seconds of upfront immov. will make sure your burst combo is not interrupted.

MUNDUS: Lover for extra penetration. Extra Pen is the only way to buff our main 5 piece (see below).

Sets:

Curse of Doylemish - Yes, I am using a proc set. Yes, you can be mad. But I actually believe this set is relatively well-balanced for PVP because heavy armor can be detrimental (less cost reduction, sustain issues in BGs) and it requires multiple conditions at once to proc (CC the enemy AND heavy attack). The cooldown is also substantial at 7 seconds, meaning you cannot chain cast this on multiple enemies. The result is that the window to proc is very small and unless you time your conditions perfectly you WIFF the burst and do basically 0 damage. But when your timing is right - OUCH. Running 5 pieces heavy body.
Prisoner’s Rags - My go to set for Stam Sorc PVP. Sprinting in this set restores 1000 mag per second, allowing us to sustain stamina by transferring it back via Dark Deal. Movement is key on this build to proc this set, so always be sprinting between fights, around corners, etc. 3 Jewelry and backbar 2hander.
Troll King - this is essentially for many stamina classes now in Summerset. This gets amped through the roof by Orc/Deadric protection passives and is a great counter to the Sload’s Meta.
Front Bar - Agility. With Summerset we can now open two extra slots on the frontbar. The perfect set for this is Agility, adding 1500 extra stamina to the frontbar for more sustain and offensive power.

Skills:

Frontbar - Sharpened mainhand (SHOCK enchant) / Infused Offhand (STAM STEAL enchant)

Rending Slashes. This does 4 BIG hits on impact, plus the DOT, enabling high burst.
Rune Cage - This is how we proc Doylemish. It has a slight delay after cast enabling you to CAST / Sprint to target / Heavy attack (boom!).
Vigor - This is our heal over time for the build.
Shrouded Daggers - this is a great finisher for the build. It does good upfront damage and also GREAT splash damage to 2 extra targets. Can be fired at a medium range to finish off opponents. Procs execute damage through DW passives. THE BEST!
Bound Armarments - the extra stamina boost is great in NO CP PVP. Light attack bonus is not bad. Also enables Deadric Protection passive for an extra 20% Health and Stamina recovery. Well worth losing the slot for all you get from this skill, especially in NO CP!
Dawnbreaker of Smiting - Big damage and stun. I reserve this for 1vX situations because Doylemish does have a cool down. So we can usually burst down the first target then pop DB to put down everyone else.

Backbard - Defending 2H (weapon damage enchant)

Bound Armaments - You no longer need to double bar this, but it can be worth it. I really wanted the extra health recovery and stamina on my back bar to help me survive. This will buff Troll King through the roof while we are streaking or sprinting away. It’s clutch.
Streak - Using this as an escape tool. Stuns everyone around you as well. When in trouble, just hit 1 or 2 streaks to create distance, get LOS, etc.
Dark Deal - our main sustain tool and also a nice heal. Use this between engagements, but remember it can be interrupted, so you need enough space to channel the ability. DON’T try to use this in the middle of fighting.
Forward Momentum - our main source of Major Brutality (20% weapon damage buff). Also removes snares. Pop this before engaging a fight or before roll dodging and escaping a group around a corner. A MUST have buff 100% because the heal will proc Troll King without you having to worry about it.
Hurricane - Major ward/resolve with minor speed buff and a nice DOT. Keep this up 100% to keep pressure on an opponent.
Ultimate - Your Choice. I like defensive ultimates here like Barrier or Storm Atronach. You can also use Overload to enable a 3rd bar to slot things like Caltrops, Channeled Acceleration or Meditate.

Other considerations:
NO CRIT SURGE?! I do not run Crit Surge on this build because we are built for quick bursts, and generally only heal between fights using Vigor and health recovery. In those situations Crit Surge will be useless because you don’t have a target to damage. The major brutality is also redundant with Forward Momentum. You can still use this skill but you will have to sacrifice either streak or bound armaments on the back bar, and I didn’t want to lose either of those skills. Since it is a long buff you could put this on Overload if using a 3rd bar.

Welp. Almost every single clip you have in that video, you have the power sigil. Don't really know why you'd post any type of footage to showcase a setup when you're doing literally 100% more damage because of a broken sigil buff.

You're running a proc set with two health buffs and a sustain set that is arguably outperformed in almost every regard by shacklebreaker, on a class that needs little to no sustain. This build is weak, at best.

Just wait until you run into my stamsorc in bgs, then you'll see what a real damage build is capable of ;)

I don’t run meta builds, so Shackle, Bonepirate, etc. will indeed post higher stats. I explain the theory in the video and why flat stats are not important to the build. That’s not the point. The point is to create something different from the usual Stam Sorc that is equally fun to play and effective. This build does just that.

But go ahead and post your meta build that we have all seen 1000 times over so we can compare notes. Or your equally impressive BG footage where you never, ever pick up a power sigil out of principle. That sounds like fun to watch!

Great reply to a very elitist post ... you get an awesome, @HackTheMinotaur.
