Or they could explain the controls and process they are implementing to mitigate further game breaking developments...

Don’t care, stuff happens. Life goes on, the game is still great regardless of bugs that will get fixed. If they weren’t pumping out dlc as fast as they do this game would have died a long time ago

How are they going to know how to fix a bug before said bug appears?

    But they wont

Only the massive oversights of this week got them to comment

They can't even outline patch notes that are what's in game.

    - Won't have master writs containing a style not yet in game.
    - Does the exact opposite of that and adds a new motif not yet in game to the master writs

    - Walls and floors will no longer disappear
    - Yeah, that's going to still be a thing.

If they don't know what's in a patch that's actually ready to release, how do you expect them to know what they want from a patch months down the line?

They should simply FIX what is broken now "before" releasing the new content.

As a paying customer, I want them to implement a real fix instead of wasting valuable time trying to make a 20-page powerpoint telling me how it could be fixed if they ever got the time to do it.

No. The liability issues of such a thing would be insane. There is no way that any company would ever do something like that.

They wont stop producing content that makes then money so the next best option is they have proper process and controls to mitigate breaking further stuff.

    Right...

Let's get rid of all "Add-ons" and stuff first to level the playing field (and, of course, eliminate the possibility of "user error" or cascade effects caused by unforeseen combinations of outside content). No outside content allowed on ANY platform. Then lock down player accounts to disallow for any outside influences (i.e. bots). Then go ahead and lock down content to ONLY what "should" be there. Then lock down our player community to only those that you can control (i.e. ESO+ members). Then hire 100's of additional workers to do QA/QC in all the possible permutations on all possible platform and application possibilities (PC, xBox, PlayStation in all purchase options - physical, digital, sources). Then get rid of scaling to limit the amount of code needed and permutations of content, etc. Now let's get rid of all possible variations of playstyle and/or any sort of customization whatsoever, after all, we don't want to complicate the possible variables. Now lets lock down each specific content pack and eliminate any travel in between them except and extremely controlled points - again to limit variables. Next we'll need to lock population totals in certain areas (i.e. PvP zones). And that's just the beginning! Maybe we should shut it down to just one server or maybe just 2 servers, one for PvE and one for PvP and never to two shall cross.
Now we'll need to go ahead and reorganize all the coding, line by line, just to be sure it's consistent. Then we'll debug, or maybe do some testing.

And on and on and on. It's not nearly as easy as you seem to think it is with 2.5 million active participants across 3 separate platform types with multiple feeds, multiple ISPs, multiple playstyles, multiple character types. It goes on and on. Can you imagine trying to calculate all the possible variable for just one character class? WoW has been at this for 20 years now and they still have issues. I can't imagine it. Just awful.

Sure. Name one, just one company that actually abides by such rules that you wish to be put in place. Just one, I dare you. This is about money.
