Mounted Speed Feels Slower?

I have a variety of trained mounts across my different characters, and recently I feel as if my max trained mount (all 60) is significantly slower than my mounts who vary between 30's to 40's. I've switched types of mounts, tested the speeds, and the 60's still feel as if they've been somehow slowed. I thought at first this was due to lag in a given phase, but all week long I've tested this, and it's definitely noticeable on my max-trained mounts.

Has anyone else been noticing something similar with their characters and mounts?

I've never time tested them, but it does seem like some move with more grace and fluidity than others. (Perhaps getting hung up on environmental stuff less or better turn radius, etc)

Are you sure you haven't simply gotten used to full mount speed + rapids, then later removed the rapids? Mounts feel dirt slow without it.

(It's also absurd that a baseline mount 'sprint' is slower than someone on foot, but that's for a whole other thread.)

i had someone keep up in medium armor once with my full 60 mount its unreal but with rapids on its like suprise im now a jet engine. mounts are insane at 60

Did they Zenimax make any changes to how gallop works with last patch? Pressing key to run at max speed (using mount stamina) seem now to only work for some seconds and then it slows down. Reapetingly press key just to run at max gallop speed isn't very funny.

Mount is all maxed out and I haven't been using rapid now for some time so it isn't an illusion from being used to use rapid.

My stamina characters definitely move faster than my magic, mounted. Maybe it’s the medium armor passive increasing speed?

I have seven master anglers. Most magic, but when I’m using my Stam guys for fishing I can totally tell I get around much faster.

Mount speed should be just that and nothing else.

There is a minimap that has a speedometer on it. That will tell you if your mount is slower.

My Senche Mount seems just fine for speed

Yep, did that on my Orc Warden once I got the Bird of Prey skill. With the regen from that skill, Orc regen, Bull Netch, and Enchanted Growth, I could keep up with him damn near forever on foot.
