[Video] Imperial city safespot/exploit

So this spot in IC functions similar to the spawn points, where you are immune to all damage, fall damage, mob aggro, etc. However it is located right next to a district flag and can be entered by any player of any faction at any given time. This should be considered an exploit, as imperial city is the only zone that punishes death by tel var loss, and this player was farming bosses with a group and only managed to escape being killed by entering this "safe spot" and using a sigil of imperial retreat to return to base.

Have seen this used, exact same place.
Right at the side of the flag.
People knowingly using it when they get into a sticky situation - Reported, but obviously no reply.

Yea I use that all the time, it's been there for ages. The lack of zos acting on it tells me they meant it to be there until they have said otherwise so idgaf, am I scared coming out saying I use it not at all as it's not a exploit to zos. BTW if you look in IC you can tell the devs haven't done *** too it as the guards in IC arent buffed like outside, they can't even stay consistent with their ******* game its pathetic.

Sorry but there should be a punishment for that, clearly they knew that it's an safe spot and to abuse it come on ZOS step up and police your game

If there's an exploit it doesn't mean you have to use it and if you're going to use it at least be sure no one sees you. If you're so dumb to get caught while using a mechanic that is not intended then its your fault and most likely deserve a ban for it. As for ZOS, they never been and probably will never be very communicative with the community towards abusing exploits and broken mechanics in PvP environment.

I've fallen into spots like that by accident. There's another one in Elven Gardens, too, that I streaked into but couldn't streak out of.

Not gonna call this an exploit until ZOS does. For all we know, using a sigil to get out was that guy's only option if /stuck didn't work.

I chased this guy into here from the flag after killing his two friends. He knew exactly what he was doing, and at the start of the clip you can see that he wasn't all the way in because I hit him with a noxious breath.

Bro that spot has been there since ICs release and been on the forums more times then you care to count, over 2 and a half years. It's not like it's hard to fix you could remove that area in about 5 minutes and in a maintenance down time. So if there not gonna take their time to fix their game then I'm gonna spend my time pissing off the community so people like you come and force them to do something.
