Whilst playing around with the outfit system, I noticed that one of my characters seemed to have fur lining her gloves / bracers / gauntlets regardless of which style I selected. At first this didn't strike me as unusual since several styles actually are lined with fur. However, it appears that the tint overlay responsible for this fur lining effect is not removed when the style changes to something less fitting. Here is one of the starkest examples:

Notice the coat of fur on her forearms with the Ancient Elf Gloves equipped. The fur appears above other styles too, which shouldn't have a fur lining. After comparing, I believe the overlay that creates some of the fur for Nord Bracers 3 has been applied to my character and not removed.
Nord Bracers 3 tested on a different character. Looks familiar, no?

Notice also how the overlay here cuts off rather abruptly in a very strong seam, which is not present on my bugged orc, who sports the more natural fur edge.
My character only loses her furry arms when I turn off her outfit entirely. Costumes and the actual gear's appearance do not have this problem. Only the outfits turn her into a chia pet.
Is there anyway to reset this overlay for my character? None of the other 4 I made outfits for suffer from this affliction.
EDIT: It appears the real cause is the chest and not the bracers. That fur paint needs to be tied to the necessary Nord hand armors and not the Nord Cuirass. Using the Nord Cuirass with any hand armors other than Nord causes this problem.
