Looking to start a Warden build.

Like the title says, looking to start a Warden build. But I do not know which direction to take it, Magicka, stam, tank, DPS. What do you guys recommend for overland, and dungeons? and then possibly Vet Dung, and Undaunted stuff

To be honest I would say get out there and follow first instincts, you can always respec at a shine if not. Your charecter will be higher level anyway so it’s not as if it’s time wasted

Google eso warden builds will give you plenty of ideas, just make sure not to copy paste a build, take it, modify it, and make it yours, much more satisfying

If you have a meta allergy like me then Sherman’s Gaming on YouTube is worth a look, also xynode gaming for a broader range and lots of guides

I really like my warden tank. Actually, bit of a toss up between that and NB for my favorite tank. Also, it’s not the playstyle I use, but because the class offers so much healing from the plant-based skill line you can run an effective build with a larger magicka pool. This would allow you to supply decent heals while in group content and make overland more efficient by swapping to a pseudo-magicka dps without respeccing (instead of puncturing everything to death with snb).

I also enjoy stamwarden. I only use mine casually as a vma runner, so can’t really speak to how good it is in group content. But it’s easy and potent for soloing.

The way I play magwarden plays comparably to magsorc IMO, so if you have a magsorc that you like, you’ll probably like magwarden too (or conversely, you might not want to choose magwarden so you have more diversity). This is likely the one that’ll be met with the most skepticism if you pug group dungeons, but despite the naysayers, I assure you it can work fine for them too.

Haven’t tried warden healer so no thoughts to offer there.
