You do know that the whole purpose of daily login is to get people to log in daily
, so that they can reach the milestone that actually gives something they want? For example the pet or the free crates.
You can't expect them to start giving out huge amounts of currency or ridiculous items as gear.
On the other hand, when the games anniversary comes, they could actually put in some nice rewards that month, for the last day, lets say a mount? Yes, a mount, since there are so many re-skins, they could easily pick a Horse, senche or wolf, seeing how those are the top 3 favorites, and give them a somewhat decent skin.
I bet that this would make players happy and make ZoS look a little bit better in their eyes. They kind of need that.2 -

Yes, yes, it's gifted coins but honestly that was exactly my thought as I saw the 500 gold, can't help.
One more zero would have been nice, in part would have covered at least the outfit I've modified today for one of my characters.
On a side note: @ZOS don't worry about selling Outfits slots (per character), with outfits so expensive where I have to pay 7K gold each, I surely do one per character and keep them the same for quite some time.
You made it easier for me to not spend on outfits slots when the gold sink is already so excessive.lll

So 500g would entice you to no matter what you are doing tomorrow to make time and be sure to log in and get that 500g reward? 5000g on the other hand wouldn't crash the game by no means and give players new and old a little something that was worth our wild. Have you ever gotten a gift card to a place where the value of your card doesn't even buy their cheapest item sucking you into buying something anyways? That's how I feel about this.1 -

If it was just an empty box, you'd all be here complaining about getting nothing at all.
So they offer something, anything, that isn't going to adversely affect the economy or give anyone an unfair advantage over someone else.
The experience scrolls will be useful for anyone who hasn't already maxed out all of their characters.
Gold is Gold, nothing else to say on that one.
Free Tel Var for nothing, fine.
The potions would be great for newer players who haven't yet levelled Alchemy. And the poisons are a nice addition to anyone hitting Cyrodiil.
3000 Alliance points buys me 2 siege weapons.
Everyone uses Repair kits + Soul Gems.
The only thing I see as less than useful is the food, it would be better to have given some Witchmothers Brew, or Camoran Throne instead. That way if you wouldn't personally use it, you could give it to a lowbie without food in a dungeon etc.
But I see why they offered Tri-Stat Food, if they offered Magika food the forum would be full of people complaining that they play Stamina, and vice-versa.
All I see really, is helpful stuff.
Next time I run a random normal, I fully expect to see the newbie level 20 actually using Food and Lethal poisons, and having potions to restore their own resources.
Which is a far cry from the usual random dungeon situation where lowbies are running around with 11k HP, no weapon enchant / poison and light attacking for 80% of the time because they have no resource potions.0 -

why would the good rewards be in the first 5 days? The whole point is to reward a regular, high level of logins, not log in once a week to get 100k. So getting crown crates for logging in 20/31 days in a month is pretty decent, you're not going to get a good reward every single day. 2 -
