Thieves Guild "Forever Hold Your Peace" broken - Can't open Palace kitchen door

Is anyone else able to open the Palace kitchen door in the Thieves Guild quest "Forever Hold Your Peace"? It seems that this quest has become bugged recently and is blocking progression in the Thieves Guild quest line.

This is the part where you have to enter the Palace kitchen door after determining Magnifica Falorah's whereabouts and pickpocketing the kitchen key. I have completed both of those things and the quest now only says "Enter the Palace". However, the kitchen door still doesn't highlight the "Open" option and cannot be opened.

I've tried abandoning and redoing the whole quest.
I've tried redoing it without any addons installed on the computer.
I've tried completing each part by using different methods (e.g. different wedding companion, different ways of finding out Falorah's whereabouts, pickpocketing different servants, etc).

Nothing seems to help. Has anyone been able to complete this quest in the past week?

    I just did this quest tonight, and everything for that part triggered when I pickpocketed the server in blue with a silver tray on his head. He was the only one I found with the key, and I was able to open the door right away. If you have the key and the door won't open, then it is likely a bug. Hope it gets sorted out so you can complete it.

    Yes, I get the key in my inventory (in the quest tab) after pickpocketing any servant. I'm maxed out on pickpocketing bonus chance so I have 100% chance of success chance to pickpocketing any of the servants. I'm also full vampire, so I can pickpocket very quickly.

    I've tried to destroy my key in my inventory and pickpocketing someone else to get a new key, but apparently you can't destroy quest items...

    Well, thanks a bunch for your reply that you could actually finish the quest!

    I may also try on another char, who has completely different pickpocketing skill bonuses... And try the blue server with silver tray.

    I just wanted to clarify - all servants in blue with silver plate has a quest marker at their head, and you can pickpocket any of them to get the kitchen key.

    I just re-tried doing this quest again (still without being able to getting through the kitchen door) just to take some more screenshots of the bug to clarify.

    Here's me showing that I do indeed have the palace kitchen key in my inventory after pickpocketing a servant:

    Here's me showing that I have completed all sub tasks and should be able to open the palace kitchen door, but the "Open" interaction option is still greyed out:

    I'm experiencing this too, tried every possible combination to fix it, reset the quest about 4 times choosing different options, every time it bugs out over the last few days..

    Hmm, I think I may have tried a different option to get the key for that in the wedding quest. I think you could bribe one of the staff maybe.
    Not sure, but worth a try.

    You would have to abandon the quest to delete the quest item automatically and retry.
