About to hit CP160 on my Stam Warden, best place to start for gear?

So depending on the builds and people, it seems Fury/7th Leg/Shackle are recommended, a lot with blood spawn. This is my first character in ESO, So I'm wondering when I hit CP 160, I'm CP144 right now, where/what should I grab then? Right now I'm wear a CP50 Training set someone made for me, which I know in pvp isn't going to help at all.

thanks

Fury and 7th are for a very tanky playstyle, often paired with high CP/stats. For low CP, I would also look into Bone Pirate and/or Spriggans. These are a bit better if you are planning on doing No CP / Battlegrounds.

For battlegrounds I have been having a lot of success running 5-1-1 medium shackle werewolf hide bloodspawn asylum 2h

    Congrats.

I always find it helpful to have one craft set...then you don’t have to stress about finding all the right pieces from two drop sets. Shacklebreaker is a good stamden choice. Hundings rage is always a decent base set.

Once you complete your set, you don’t need to stress about making the body pieces gold. There’s a decent bump if you upgrade all seven pieces, but it’s not massive and that’s pretty expensive. I advise most players to wait until, they’re really comfortable with their setups (unless they’re rich and don’t mind tossing gold at gear). I found that all of my characters performed pretty differently at CP 350 than they did at CP 160, and some changed setups.

However, it’s worth noting that there is a significant boost to damage when weapons go to gold. It should be enough of a boost to represent a 10-15% jump in overall dps. So when you have a setup you like and want some extra power, that’s a good place to begin. In PvP the Meta is still nirn on the main weapon, infused on the back, and I agree with this strategy.

@davey1107 Going to be a complete noob here. "Nirn" on main weapon/infused on back? sorry what are those?

Crafting stations. Get yourself a set of Shacklebreaker, cant go wrong with that.

Then 7th is an easy to get set since it's overland in Bangkoria.

Relating to Nirn/Infused they are traits (similar to training). Nirnhoned increases weapon damage so have this on your front hand (since you get >50% from your offhand) paired with Infused on your offhand which reduces weapon enchantments 50% (roughly)

@Sparr0w Thanks, I got a friend that is willing to craft me a set. Been deconstructing everything, so I'm sure I have most of the mats.

I've seen people say the 7th legion set. The best way to obtain that just Dols or what?

Dolmens for jewelry. Public dungeon (I believe its Razaks wheel) for weapons
