Maintenance on console today for?

Can you (ZOS) take 1 minute and tell us what the maintenance today is for (patch notes or a brief couple sentences)???

Besides what I see on the PC notes (which is not always the same as console), I was wondering if the daily rewards or the infinite login screens are addressed in this downtime?

It's to fix what they screwed up yesterday, making the game nearly impossible to play.

I couldn't access Auridon or Summerset without 10 minute loading screens. I finally settled on heading to Orsinium.

Maintenance again tomorrow too, so three days in a row. As good as the content is, Summerset’s techical shortcomings have really taken the sheen off the experience for me.

I’m actually surprised by ZOS’ willingness to perform maintenance asap to fix issues rather than simply waiting for patch day like almost every game out there ever.

Yes it can be frustrating, but it shows they care about their product and their customers enough to do something about the problems that pop up.

Around Summerset release there was about two weeks of almost daily maintenance to sort out any issues, alongside the login issue many steam users had. Frustrating if you really want to play, but definitely a good thing for the games overall health. And let’s be fair, there is always something else to do IRL or another game to play whilst it’s down

To OP, they don’t usually state what maintenance is being performed, I always just assume something went wrong with the last patch or some hackers have tried a DDOS attack (which is surprisingly common for online games to have to deal with)

With the excess issues and the fact they are performing multiple maintenances along with acknowledging issues in the forums, I was hoping for communication on the PVP crashing, long load screens and toon lockout fixes.

While they usually do not comment, it seems they are communicating more at the moment.

The maintenance this morning on Xbox NA was to fix an issue where some players either couldn't log in, or were getting stuck in long loading screens while trying to travel to other areas. The daily login reward issue is still being worked on, and we'll roll out the fix as soon as we can.

This was an immediate patch applied Sunday morning, apparently to fix something about leaderboard rankings.

This "fix" broke the game, making both pointless.
