That TES has been moddable got me hooked - starting with TES:Morrowind - the first I added was Quarl's texture pack or something like this it was called, and what a difference to the vanilla game. And from that time on I am basically changing Bethesda games to my liking or how I think it is more reasonable.

The downside of it is, once I start to mod a game, I am more modding than playing - because I have always a bunch of new ideas to be tested out. With FO4 survival mode I have restricted myself from doing that - in order to have at least one game, which I can play through without to always have to start over and over again, because I added a few more ideas to it.

    A little off topic? :joy:

Reread the first post. It's actually on topic.

But the OP was if TES never existed.. ?

    The Elder Scrolls: Daggerfall
    The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind
    The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion
    The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim

The whole "series" is "The Elder Scrolls".

It's sitting right behind me. I can hear it...it's calling me...calling me...7am...neighbors gotta be up by now...if not, they will be in a minute...
I could play Stairway to Heaven when I was 12. Jimmy Page didn't write it until he was 25.
    I think that says something.

Easier to follow directions than to create something new? Big surprise.

In a world, where The Elder Scrolls series never existed. What would you be doing right now? :sunglasses:

not following threads where the title ends in "..."

I'd probably still be playing LotRO for the setting, or SW:G Emu for the memories. The crafting/decorating in ESO is not ideal, but it's the closest I've been to happy with in a long time.:P

Or I'd be weeding my tomato garden (it's too hot right now)
Or I'd be doing laundry - ugh
Or I'd be getting the house ready for our new gaming group starting on the 14th.

Nah - who I am kidding - I don't need ESO as an excuse for procrastination, I do that just fine by myself.

Playing another game that doesn’t exist but hypothetically could.
