Should completed quests display in the quest journal?

I think, they should. For instance, sometimes I want to remember a choice, my character made in the past. I know about an UI-mode, which brings a TESIII-like journal into the game, but unfortunately it doesn't works behindhand. So, why not to make it a default thing?

The completed main quests already show in the Achievements. Most zones have 30 to 40+ quests, so a complete journal would be extensive.

Too many repeatable ones for that. And, as pointed out already, the main ones have achievements you can check.

Why not, also would be nice if we could see how many completed / how many quests are available in the zone.
All over Tamriel, theres a sudden spike in Bosmers getting caught for their crimes. A sad day indeed... #FightForYourRite Give Bosmers back our stealth!

    Yes, they should.
There should be a way for me to find out whether or not I have completed a quest if I only know the quest's title, so sure.

True, but not all quests have an achievement. Also, the description of the finished ones, which can be seen on the map, don't tell nothing about what choice was made. For example, after completing The Dagger's Edge in Glenumbra one can only read: "You discovered the cause of the harpy frenzy". Not a single word about Lord Diel's and Daggers fate.

They obviously should be displayed only once.
