Xbox - Characters not loading in or loading in after a 3-4 minutes wait

The characters on Xbox are not loading in and if you reset, nothing happens.
After about 10 restarts, a toon will load in after maybe waiting for 3-4 minutes....
Gotta love the console bugs, lets see how long it takes a moderator to nerf this thread.....

Seriously though. It’s hilarious how easily they can yank servers down to fix the Crown Store or Leaderboard issues, but they can’t manage to get a patch FOUR WEEKS after being notified of game breaking permafreezing in almost ALL of their end game content.2 -

That is actually becoming a talked about issue on Reddit.
Let them keep that practice up, it isn't helping their customer relations.

✭I was able to load into every character except one with no issues. That one particular character, however, was logged out in Summerset and stays “loading” at the character selection screen for 5+ minutes until I lose my patience and shut down the console and restart.
Interesting development, when hitting the home button then highlighting ESO and hitting “A” that should bring up a menu with the option to quit to dashboard... Hitting “A” now just returns you straight back to the infinite’s loading at character selection. Have to restart the whole console now to restart ESO.
Thinking it might be a Summerset zone-specific thing perhaps.Feric51

It’s every character I had logged out anywhere in Summerset once I travelled out and logged them out in mournhold I could log them in and out with no difficulty but some names are serigal, useless magplar, touched it, woody wood ***, double dippin I left double dippin there so I could try at less peak hours to see if it was just unusually high traffic
My gt on Xbox is phelan 519, this issue only started after today’s emergency maintenance it can take as long as 15 minutes to load up which is unusualEdited by serigal on July 2, 2018 2:34AM0 -

Sassparella501✭✭✭Character Elisariel is now experiencing the can't load problem. Been on Requesting character load for a few minutes now. Going to give up and try again later. The maintenance obviously completely broke the game on Xbox.0

Took a solid 5 minutes, but got X'ev to load in game. Will check others and edit.
X'ev: 5 min delay on request screen, but loaded
K'ei: no load delay
M'ai: failed to load (went to 308 error screen)
P'yr: 3 min delay on request screen, but loaded

Mystical One took a little over five minutes to load in.
Lysistrada got booted after about 5 minutes due to inactivity.0
