Stamblade still good.

I used to be a negate monkey, and raged at cheesblades months ago. Ive gotten back into eso and thought "if you cant beat em, eat em" im lvl 20 and i feel i do way better than a cp700 negate monkey.

Is it still good as it has been?

It is still good. NBs in general are very good. They have been barely touched and when they were, their buffs outweigh their nerfs. You can now benefit from Shade anywhere and stuff while keeping your frontloaded burst. So yeah, still very good.

They’re very good from the game’s *intended* mechanics. But PvP feels really broken right now, and some of the ways it’s broken make it annoying to be a NB.

For example, I had a horrible time getting my marks to work tonight. The ability would cast and just fizzle. And no, it wasn’t being countered. Like someone on siege with their back turned, and poof...no mark. I also had several times where invisibility just failed for no reason...which has been a problem for months.

But when the game is working as intended, they’re pretty good.

Stamblades are good but Mag Sorcs are better. Nerf Sorc they kill me a lot

Stamblade is amazing until you see a sorc and get insta fizzled. Nerf sorcs.

Actually nerf all the other classes. Makes it easier to play stamblade.

Stamblade is in an excellent place this patch. There is a ton of ways to distribute your stats to build around your playstyle and group size, making it excellent for a variety of situations. The only thing it lacks is AOE pressure, but that's just the trade you have to make for one of the most well rounded kits in the game.

And most sorcs are survivable if they are low-medium damage and you keep your healing up appropriately.

One class over-performing doesn't negate the fact that stamblades are in a good spot. I would like to see the stun for Incap reworked or replaced, and have the Dark Cloak heal scale off of spell or weapon crit; whichever is higher.

I just know how you are a pretty good player and I have been enjoying my new set up a lot, I'm done with proc set and bone pirate and the typical meta every patch. I really enjoy this update and the possibilities for gear and builds are endless

Nightblades are extremely overtuned in one area (Xv1 and openworld) but undertuned in many others (small scale, large scale, sense of humor, literacy rate, etc). They don’t need to be nerfed so much as balanced...

Mag sorcs are a bit different. They bring tremendous utility to a group, but are also very strong solo. The difficulty with balancing the mag sorc is in how polarized the fight outcomes often are... either the mag sorc’s opponent gets through the shields and blows up the mag sorc in a spectCulR fashion, or the mag sorc looks like they didn’t take any dmg and they drop their opponent from 50 to 0 inside of a second. Very polarized outcomes with the players rarely seeing something in between happen.

I have no idea how to balance that. It’s gonna be really tough and *** people off either way.

Groupsize!?!?! you *** kidding me? Stamblades are only viable in max 4 man Groups.

Then tone down it’s capabilities while solo.

the current justification for why the class is so strong when facing a single target is that they don’t have group or multiple target viability. So buff one and reduce the other, everyone will be happier for it.
