ESO version advice

Fury091014
I had bought ESO back in 2016 on PC didnt get into it back then and sold my gaming rig, Recently got sick of almost 3 years of BDO and bought the ESO summerset pre order on the PS4 and love it. I do enjoy the addons the PC has but my question is, which version should I stick with?
My current PC is a Lenovo laptop that plays it all low with med subsample which makes it a tad blurry but I get around 30 to 60 fps. My PS4 is well a PS4 and no gfx settings so it looks a lot better and I do not have enough to get a new pc. Either way I play it, will be on a 1080 flat screen and both versions look good even with the PC on med subsample though my laptop gets super hot. ugh not sure which to stick with...

I have it on PC and PS4 as well. I don’t use any addons but I still prefer the PC version because it just seems to run smoother and looks better. It’s also nice having the keyboard for chat.

I don’t really care for the voice chat on PS4 because people insist on “sharing” their crappy music at full blast, lol. Crap like that gets really immersion breaking.

I still play on the PS4 occasionally, but I treat it more like a single player game on that system.

True, but in OP's case also overheated laptop. Without knowing specifics, that laptop may not be designed to support those stresses.

yeah my laptop is a Lenovo Ideapad 300 some specs, As I have said it runs it pretty good on low settings. I can have shadows on med with minimal performance impact but subsample on med and textures on med, If I bump my res up I can use low subsample on 1600x900 res and looks better but yeah it gets hot. Well my ps4 gets a hell of a lot hotter though. Currently on ps4 12X cp stamblade

no add-ons with ps4 or 5. If you buy PC version....DO NOT buy from STEAM, buy from ESO website.

I bought eso on steam in early 2016 and do not play because its steam launched I cant deal with steam (personal reasons) but when I bought eso way back I didnt know what steam was, I purchased eso thinking steam was a part of it. Then when learning what steam was I quit shortly after. I just feel for some reason like the ps4 version is very much like a solo rpg even though there are others running round I guess I got used to being able to hit enter and chat while grinding or doing stuff ingame. ps4 you have to open a social menu and hit /z to chat gets really annoying to the point I don't even care to hassle with it. but I did buy the pre order summerset and a eso plus as well as a damn ps plus...

Sorry to double post, I do have a question and I always get an automated response from the game company.

If I buy eso through the site on pc can I link it to my existing eso account that my ps4 is linked on? (I know that I can not play my characters and nothing is transferred over from and to) I just want everything on 1 account so like this,

    ESO account Fury091014

    PSN linked

    PC purchase linked

Basically so I can have both accounts on 1 ESO account (not to transfer) just to not have to remake a new ESO account so that I can use this name, Fury091014 on pc and ps4

Intel graphics card? Stick with the PS4. Oh wait. You still have it for PC so why not just play on PC and see how it runs for you and how hot it gets. If it causes to much issues then go to the PS4.

I was on PC went to Xbox One. Now I am back on PC just because I miss the map add on. While they both look the same if you put it on TV, I feel the PS4 version will look better since I don't think the Intel graphics card will make it look better. I could be wrong so that is why I say try the PC version first but feel the PS4 will play more better looks wise and play wise.

Not my quote but I love this saying

"I would pay It for support. But since they choosed we are just numbers and not customers, i dont mind if game and zos goes to oblivion"

yeah the steam (pc) version i have looks good on my 32 inch even on a low settings just because its big, the ps4 version is a lot nicer since my potato is old but having issues trying to decide. If i stick with the pc version i wont play through steam, I would end up buying eso summerset on the website and not steam. Or i could stick with my ps4 version that has summerset and eso plus.
P.S. the main reason i am having issues deciding is due to the PS4 lag and lower than low fps that i get 15 to 25 fps on my ps4 while on my old pc i get 30 to 60 fps and i can easily hit enter and chat. The PS4 version feels like i am playing on a very old computer with high settings and getting bad (Crap) fps. Maybe the PS4 can not handle the gfx? is there anyway to turn shadows off on the console to get atleast 30 fps?

imo the console feels unplayable at times with always getting this (loading is taking longer than usual)
15 to 25 fps/ sluttering/ walking into populated areas and the game running like a picture book at 5 fps.
