What do you prefer and why? But none of this "NO CP/CP is where the real pvpers are at!" Personally I like no cp better as the gap is smaller between new players and vets as the only thing the things that separate me from a fresh cp turned noob is only 150 cps and gear along with experience. Also time to kill is a lot faster in no cp.
CP campaigns allow for more build variety, higher tolerances, more limits to reach and surpass, and generally allows for more functional edge builds to create and destroy.
Counterplay is the name of the game, you adapt quick, or you die quicker. That means "unkillable" tanks too. If you play the meta in a CP campaign, you will get bored quick.
I like them max stats on my magblade! Also a good cp layout gives you a sizeable advantage over ppl who don't know how to distribute cp, it adds another layer of build optimization.
I play both but I prefer noCP. I mostly go to Vivec when there is too much zerg going on in Sotha and I am solo. With cp its just way more easy to fight outnumbered than in Sotha.
CP is defensively unbalanced kinda.
Non CP is extremely offensively unbalanced. No CP BG’s is absolute cancer with all the proc sets that aren’t easily countered like in cp. Plus it’s even worse for mag since you have almost no stam so you break free twice and you’re done for. Also. Nothing better than hitting 6k vigor’s while being hit with sloads/caldrons legacy cancer sets.
I'm used to have longer fights, my entire playstyle is build around it. I'm also used to that my enemies are able to take hits and stand longer.
Every time when I go to play at non CP campaigns, I often drop my combo on enemy and when they die, I feel like:
"Oh, you died already? Now that's almost disappointment."
Shields are too small in No-CP, so fighting outnumbered is a death sentence.
This is just one the reasons I prefer no CP. No unkillable builds. It's the reason a lot are put off by it.
If damage was brought down a touch overall and proc sets disabled, no CP would be perfect and I'd play ESO way more. But the game is balanced with Crutch Points and is the reason the game is a mess compared to how it was before CP.
I like the even playing field of non-CP PVP, but it just creates different problems - damaging proc sets in particular are crazily overtuned for non-CP. Switching back and forth is also a pain in the ***, they're more different than same, at least for me.
Don't know if this is some veiled attempt to get CP eliminated in favor of your preference, but this has been asked before....numerous times.
It was overwhelmingly in favor of CP.
In any case, a poll here where probably the majority of the playerbase never sees it will not be a good representation.
Considering the only consistently pop locked campaign is CP, and the next busiest one is also CP would indicate that CP is preferred.
There are both so there is a choice. I support having a choice so people can play what they want. There are people that play no-CP, but it will never be as busy as Vivec CP except perhaps during midyear mayhem
