I could not agree more! I know I heard a few time it's a technical reason but it's really frustrating to have max slots and a half finished home.

Really would love just a simple boost of 100 slots. Why can small homes have more added through gold purchase like bag upgrade? They could even sell for real money in the crown store no matter I still buy it.

If you could move it like the yachts in GTA5 that would be cooler. What's the point of a boat if you can't boat on it, it's like a fly with one wing; not much of a fly anymore if it can't fly, its more of a flew. Get boated.

It obviously needs a hot tub and a bard sound-system too, and maybe a cosmetic griffon pad.

SIGH. I know this may not be a popular view but I genuinely wish they had NEVER made this game for consoles. They were having a hard enough time optimizing it for PC! Now, since the addition of consoles, the game's growth has seemed impossibly stunted.

Its not a popular opinion because it couldnt be farther from the truth. Housing came post-console release. Large DLCs came post-console release. Just because you feel as if consoles are holding back the game on this particular issue, does not mean they are impossibly stunting the games growth. The truth is if it wasnt for console release its very unlikely this game was ever going to be as big and as successful as it is now. Im really not even sure how you could come to this conclusion unless you somehow ignore all of the major changes that has happened post-console release and pretend that the game was in a good place prior to June of 2015.

These homes look bare at the current limit. The cove/ship would be an auto buy for me, but as is I think it would be a total waste of crowns (for me).

I bought the Ebonheart Chateau when it was released. I think I have done a good job with it as functional quasi guild hall, with enough decorations to make it feel like a house. That said, I am out of space and still have 3-4 rooms that frankly feel unfinished. I would need at least double the capacity to get it the way I actually want it.

Until they get that sorted, no way I am buying another house with the same issues. Only thing I will add at this point is items that actually serve a purpose like target dummies and crafting stations. Considering, I have all that are available, housing is essentially a dead concept for me. Don't get me wrong, I love having my place, but they need to get capacity sorted out before I do anything else with it.

House capacity is a huge problem. (obviously not such as balance, but huge nontheless, regretting buying the DC castle because of space) I just finished furnishing Alinor Crest Townhouse. Its not the worst house to manage with the small space but for such person who likes detail like me its hard to not see the empty spots where there could be flower, there could be bottle, pillow here, some more pictures... I had to take away so many small details from the house to actually make the terrase not look as empty. And yet I am still not 100% happy with it. But what can I do, I did my best that I know, I put 5 of those huge new hedges just to make the place smaller and less empty looking. I put trees in the conrete floor to make it look less empty. I wanted to put the new alinor bookshelfs as they look really nice but I cant because there is no way I could fit a single book in them with the limits (good old redguard bookshelf full). ZOS gives us potential but then limits it so the potential cant be used. I need at least 100 more slots for that house to make it look as I want exactly and maybe even then I am gonna find empty spaces.

I think what they should do is allow us to buy account wide storage upgrades either through store or in game for our houses with a cap of 10 100 storage increases imo.

This. Is it a they *** themselves over like WoW did? And to explain, WoW cannot expand the base backpack you start out with because it's so hardwired into the game's code, that doing so crashed the game. They explained that they would have to completely rewrite the whole coding of the entire game for the upgrade to work. However, they were upfront about this coding issue when asked why it wasn't possible. Not a baseline 'techincal issue' and left at that.

When we have consoles playing movies, streaming, and the myriad of other things that they can do, I really don't get why they can't increase the house item limit. Hell, I wouldn't even care if they did it a separate thing and made it an upgrade that can only be bought with crowns. It'd be nice to be able to actually decorate the way I would like to.

If they cant increase the amount of slots, why not to release smaller houses? But nooo, every new house is bigger than the previous one.
It doesnt make them "epic" and "special", they just feel empty and its really hard to furnish them. Thats the reason why I havent bought one yet.

But, why can't we buy additional extra slots like 50 / 100 / 250 with crowns? I am sure people would buy them if you price them reasonably for 500, 1000 and 2000?

They did address the issue, people just do not like the answer. I would like more slots but I am beginning to understand why that might not happen for a long time if at all. In the housing thread there is a good post explaining the math.

I can't say a crashed boat appeals to me that much.. I kinda always hated Pirate movies..
