ZOS please make them 4 stone geodes as they never drop more than 4. Or fix them to work as the description says.

Nope, I've received the 5, 10, and 15 varieties just in the last couple of days from the Rewards of the Worthy.

It's a non-issue if you just make sure all characters reach tier 1 of the PvP end of campaign rewards. That's where the heavy-hitting geodes come in.

I can also confirm for a pc/NA that I got the 5 and 10 vatieties recently. Its heavily weighted RNG, but not a bug.

I can confirm, I've received 5 and 10 as well. It's really rng. The big haul stones are at the end of campaign rewards, 4 characters gets you 200. if you have 15 characters and get them to where they can get the end of campaign rewards, then that's up to 750 there. Yes you cant hold that much but you can save the geodes until you do need them.

The description is "technically" accurate. It does drop 4 - 25. The issue is that the distribution is heavily weighted toward 4. It could probably be a little more precise about your expected rewards, but it's not exactly lying and doesn't appear to be bugged.

Zos chose to alleviate the RNG of loot drops with the RNG of those crystals.

It should either be an average or a smaller range. That would be logical but logic is not always given consideration.

As an update, my Magicka DK received a 25 stone uncracked yesterday.

I have had 4, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25. More than 4 is rare, though. Still better than the crap you get for PvE

I have 5 active characters. For 3 weeks I put my 4 alts into the 7-day campaign and make sure to get 25K AP on each. That's 40 crystals per week in addition to the dailies. Then I move them to the 30-day campaign, and I'll get another 300 crystals at the end of the month. 50 each for my for alts, and 100 (typically) for my main, who racks up more AP over the month.

This will be the first month I'm doing this, but I'm pretty sure it will work.

It seems like the dropchances are heavily skewed, just like ZOS likes it (I mean look at staff drops for example, compared to literally anything else).

I usually get about 2 of these per day, and it's always 4 or 5, once I got 20, and a few times I've gotten 10. A friend of mine got 24 once.

ESO's RNG is like that of a gambling den. The house always wins.
