Any chance of massive open world changes related to story lines?

Just curious what everyone's thoughts were on these sort of events, where areas encounter massive physical and/or functional changes from what they use to be for a period (or permanently) based on large-scale events and story lines.

I've seen other MMORPGS and RPGS/MUDs do this and think they are very interesting, but what do you think the chances are of this happening in ESO? Obviously it would have to have to be within the scope of ES lore.

Just let me know when it happens so I can be sure to avoid the game altogether while it's happening.

    I'm change averse.

There are some areas (all fractions have them) that change due to quest progress/decisions, if thats what you wanted to know.

Changes include hostility of inhabitans (or lack thereof) as well as choices regarding who lives there (or if anyone lives there at all).

Unlike in other MMOs, we know how Tamriel looks like from the other Elder Scrolls games, so there will be no Cataclysm in ESO.

True, but it's also during war time and has its own history. They have open reign with the lore pretty much, they just can't tie anything to future events that take place in the single player variants.

So some areas could be invaded/destroyed by either a mortal force or daedric Prince.

It really just depends on where and how they change what. If I really enjoyed an area and it was changed in an update to something I didn't care for as much, it would make me despise the area.

I would really like to see some of the towns we save being given real functionality.
