What's a good Stamplar PVP build?

I've been running zergs lately, and I've realized my damage is alright but my sustainability is pretty low, I get rekt really fast if I'm off scouting and get stuck behind DC/AD zergs. I haven't played a lot of PVP, but I notice some people are OP af, and it's better to just avoid them and move along. How do I become an immortal stamplar god, or how do I get enough burst to burn these kind of builds down?

I'm running Hunding/Nightmothergaze and Agility. All gold with penetration mundus. It's a pretty alright build overall for PVE and PVP, but I've been wworking on getting some new gear for PVE, but for PVP I got no idea what to even go after. Does high damage > penetration or penetration > high damage in pvp? I get around 3.5k wep dmg unbuffed.

    you don't give enough information:-

    What lvl is your toon?
How many CP do you have?
Which traits does your gear have?

    PS:

PVE and PVP are totally different play styles....

I didn't know PVE and PVP were two totally different play styles. I thought a PVE build would work great in PVP which is why I didn't make this thread.

Max CP, all divines and sharpen. All stam enchant and wep increase, debuff resistance + buff wep dmg on weapons.

    I'm not a good pvp'r cos - I'm a reasonable pve'r

but I do know that you want two different sets of gear.... one for pve and one for pvp...

the gear you have is great for pve

Take a look at https://alcasthq.com/eso-stamina-templar-build-pvp/ for an idea on what the difference is.

Alcast is a good starting place - he has builds for both pvp and pve.

    Good luck with your journey!

Some popular stamplar pvp sets: bone pirate, automaton, ravager, spriggan, (damage) impregnable, fortified brass (defensive). Try to wear lots of impenetrable...like 1.8k plus as a bare minimum, over 2k more recommended. Weapon damage and pen are both useful in pvp. I can write an essay when it comes to stamplar pvp so hopefully that will at least start you on the right path. Make sure you use extended ritual and restoring (or channeled) focus to help with your defensive capabilties. Power of the light is nice for a burst damage ability, which you can time wtih a stun and ultimate since it's delayed.

I already see nthat build, it's literally just stamina. My intentions are to either increase my damage so I can kill immortal builds, or become an immortal build.

Bone pirate and hulking dragur. Storm fist.

The ability "power of the light" scales off max stamina.

Probably want the lover mundus for penetration.

I don't know about the skills beyond jabs and power of the light. Try things and see what you like.

You don’t. Stamplar does not make for a good “immortal” spec. The class doesn’t have the sustain or means to actively face tank damage. If you wanna be “immortal”, I’d suggest a Stam Warden or Stam DK as tanky options or a Stam Nightblade for the elusive route to “immortality”.

What stamplar does shine at is being a big *** damage spec with monstrous pressure. A more glass cannon type playstyle. If that appeals to you, here are the two builds I run:

    x5 Ravager, x5 Bone Pirate, x2 Bloodspawn

Been running this spec since Homestead patch. Very high ceiling for damage with good sustain. Squishy. True glass cannon.

    x5 Automaton, x5 Impreg, x2 Bloodspawn

Well rounded build with high damage and more mitigation than the other build. Tricky to sustain, learn to heavy attack like clock work. Lower damage ceiling than Ravager, more consistent pressure. Impreg is among the best defensive sets in the game. Swap for Fortified Brass in BGs.

    I'm using shackle/7th legion/troll king (or bloodspawn)in heavy. All impen. 2-h/snb.
For sustain, lava foot soup drink/serpent mundus and bosmer (not sure if argonian may be a better choice)

Plenty of purges for sloads and enough to survive runecage burst.

I'm an experienced PvPer but noob stamplar (stam in general) and it works for me(ie. fairly forgiving, just have to watch sustain)

I really like the way a purge and vigour(with troll king) can save allies too..
