Cannot deconstruct colored rings

Anyone else having this issue? I have two (unlocked) purple rings I want to deconstruct, but they don't show in the deconstruct menu at any jewelry crafting station. Not in Keyboard UI, not in Gamepad UI. Is this a known issue, or do I need to make a ticket?
Edit: Both are post-Summerset.

✭✭✭Edit: oh nevermind. I guess you can't deconstruct "research" rings from psijiic portals. And it's worthless now too. Boo.1 -
Pyr0xyrecuprotite✭✭✭✭✭yah those special rings that you find - if you don't need to research the trait, sell them at a guild trader if possible (20-35k), otherwise just vendor them for face value (500g) if bound.0 -

These aren’t worthless if you sell or trade to other players.
You might recall that nirnhoned exemplary gear from the Craglorn main quest is also not deconnable ... since their purpose is for research.0 -

Locked items don’t show up for research at the crafting table.0
