Play. Do things you like instead of dull grind, if you don't like it. You'll eventually get there.

    Or quit playing, no matter.

    THAT’s the rush.

How about HOW NICE! The enlightenment that I get 400,000 of every day ensures that I gather XP at 4X normal rate. It even STACKS if I don't use it one day and WILL STACK with XP boosters!!!

That is amazing to help those of us who don't no life the game catch up!!!

    Edit for typo.

Dolmens are the slowest grind available. Grind Skyreach or overland mobs. Dolmens are only for new players that can't solo anything.

And why are you even grinding CP? Just play the game. Enlightenment will take care of the rest.

    Again.

    God I hate grinding levels.

Just craft full training gear. Enjoy overland content and questing. For public dungoens quests drink XP pots before start .
You will enjoy the game and level up faster as well. Problem is grinding for gear/materials sucks in this game.
    Jewellery crafting failure is epic.
After all you paid money for game. Leech every bit of game content. Trust me, ZOs made some epic and legendary gaming experience buried inside the game in PVE. PVE content alone worth your money , almost need 1 year to complete it. Dont miss it.
Notable ones are Orsinium, Rivenspire , AD questline , Stonefalls ,Vvardenfel , Reaper's Marsh, dunmer...... might have missed something.
Dont just go by the complains in the forums. Forums is mainly used for complaining only. I do complain a lot in forums, after all no game without concerns.
Use grinding only in case no other dailies to do.

ESO should have been one of the great games of all time if some downsides are ignored.

I always wondered if grinding Crimson Cove would be any good? Tons of NPCs and easy to round up and mow down.

Back to the enlightenment.. I think the more characters you have over 50 the more enlightenment you get? I know on first character on my first account grinding CP took a long time but once I got more characters over level 50 my CP started to fly.

I am now on my 2nd account and just about to get my 2nd character to lev 50 because I need some fast CP... I may have to get my 3rd character to level 50 as well so my CP will go even faster.

I'm always surprised at how far I level just getting skyshards. There's a lot of xp to be had in the delves and dungeons, including the quests. You need the skill points anyway.

I do want to add one thing about dolmen grinding for stam dps. I thought I'd skip it entirely this time with a new toon. Now my stam sorc needs rearming trap from the fighters guild line and I'm out there in the dessert with 750 cp. I feel like billy madison throwing dodge balls at kids. The one saving grace is the jewelry mats, but I wish I'd focused on the FG leveling earlier.

Edit: I missed that you are specifically asking about cp grinding. My comment is more for leveling new toons. I'm sure you have the skills you need on your main.

I did the same and the public dungeon is a win win win. You can grind there, get gear there and also make gold from selling stuff you get from them.

You could hand out free gold bars and some would complain they are too heavy.

More realistic: you will get complains if you hand out free wine or beer as adverting as some both get drunk and some of them will complain.
This one does not understand Humans at all, an benefit of the Aldmeri Dominion is that we have few humans, unfortunately Bosmer might be more insane.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    What's the rush?

Having max CP kind of adds a lot to someone just reaching 160 CP or even someone 600 CP.

It matters, and it takes forever when you "just play the game normally"

Not to mention ZOS increases the CP every update so for some it's a never ending climb.

The total amount of XP needed to reach the CP cap stayed the same, no matter if it was 501 or 750. You earn lower cp faster than you did back then. Can you imagine the grind back in the days? Or even when vet ranks were a thing? It's intentional that you can't grind your way to 750 in rocket speed. Quit whining.

What are you talking about? Who is whining? I'm explaining why some people grind and why they don't like it. And are you saying that if someone was one cp away from max before the latest patch hey still have the same amount of experience to gain as they would've getting to that one cp than they would for the extra 30 added? Interesting.

If I wanted max CP (I'm CP 620 atm iirc?) I'd have it by now I've been playing for about 2 years now, I don't expect to grind to anything in rocket speed, I don't grind anyway I just play and get xp that way. Get off your high horse kid, you'll keep your status as being elite if someone other than you has max cp.

I don't know the exact curve but let's say it took, i don't know, 500 mil XP to grind form cp0 to cp501 when that was the cap, it still takes 500mil XP to get from cp0 to cp750. How steep that xp curve is... who knows.

This has nothing to do about being "elite", as I revert to playing no cp pvp only, it has something to do with people complaining about things that are simply not true. As in

PVPer here: I level up ("grind") doing circuits of IC sewers. Loads of xp with the added benefit of TV stones, keyshards, skyshards and the exciting threat of pvp every once in a while.
