Some Housing Wishlist Ideas.

Alts counting as a Pet. Basically a way to show off Some Your Outfits and Weapons.
Programmable Test Dummy i.e.Set Build/Random Attack Generator/Motion Detectable Attack i.e. People turn off your lights?
Test Dummy Attacks.
Interlocking items that are same, count as 1 item freeing up slot space.
Picture frames that allow uploaded screen shots of your favorite places and friends.
Audio Item that can play looped sounds from game. i.e. Birds/Animals/Funny noises.
The ability to be put on a Tour list for people to visit and enjoy Your Home.
A garden that will grow speacial plants for crafting.
In house event with a challenge that if completed offers Speacial Buff for X amount time.
Those Dyes no one ever buys? Use on furniture/walls/carpets.
Random NPC's from game popping in and snooping around, making trivial comments on your decorating.
A door that has OPTIONS to port directly to any other Door you have placed in another of your homes. The way storage chests work.
Just some things I think would be fun.

Ability to 'Start' daily quests from my house especially 'Writs'.
A 'Repair' service basically a service similar to the banker and merchant but it just has the ability to 'repair' equipment.
A Washrine service that would allow me to travel to other Wayshrines for free from my house.
Guild Specific items that only 'Guilds' can buy and place to give guild members more reason to visit their Guild Halls.
A Guild Bankers that give you access to the current Guilds Bank and Store activities.
A Raffle Vendor. At a minimum it should be able to give the player a 'ticket' then pick a winner and notify them they won. Ideally it should also be ale to 'hold' prizes and send them directly to the winning player.
A Dues box that keeps track payment schedules an who has paid and who has not paid.
A Guild message board where players can see the guild Message Of The Day as well as a limited set of other messages posted by guild leaders.1 -

✭My list:
Achievement based clothing dummy as a reward for collecting an entire motif.
House lighting and interactive decorations locked to decorator only status.
Ability to block external light through windows by decoration placement. Or ability to set the time of day within your housing instance for lighting purposes.

I would definitely like crafting writ boards and an increase to furnishing cap for pc. Would also love to be able to see my other characters roaming around the house that they are logged out in.
One last item, bards. Or at least some way to set what music plays in that home.0 -
