I bought the Summer Set Physical Collectors edition on Xbox One and I noticed something odd?

The game no longer has to have the disk in to play.

I've only ever owned physical versions of ESO but was this a benefit to getting the physical collectors edition?

I'm so confused.

It's almost as if the game is digital on my account now... which is fine, but I don't get why it happened.

the benefit is statue and book. physical goodies. if you are not interested in physical extras, there is no point in buying physical CE, becasue everything else is exactly the same as digital CE

also, the reason why your game doesn't require disk anymore is becasue physical edition comes bundled with base game. I'm not entirely sure why there is no upgrade only version, but that's how it is. with digital you can buy CE upgrade only, or CE bundled with base game.

but anyways, yeah, only reason to buy physical CE is for physical extras

    No I get that.

What I am saying is, now... all of a sudden, despite never owning anything digital (no digital version of the game), I can play without the disc.
