Would it be possible for a mobile app to be developed that tracks the alliance war in Cyrodiil and can give the user the ability to "favorite" keeps in certain campaigns so they get notifications on when their favorited keeps are under attack?

Could this mobile app also give the user an up to date live map of Cyrodiil on the campaign they have selected.

Seems hard to implement, but sounds amazing.

Bet it'd never come to my Windows Phone 8!

Love those conversations with friends and colleagues:

"Hey, have you checked out <insert new viral app here (CandyCrush, SnapChat, Flappybird etc)> yet?"

I just pull my phone out of my pocket and I get a look like, "I'm sorry for your loss".

It would be nice if there was an ingame way of knowing if a keep was under attack, so if you're PvEing you know if you need to head over to defend. WAR did this well.

It would be great. I know rift has a mobile app that lets you know who in your guild is on and where the randomly loaded invasions are taking place. FF14 also has a mobile app of sorts but im not sure what it does. Didnt play the game long enough to dig into it.

Just as long as it didnt give out quicker/more info then what can be seen in game.

And now that i think about it, the notification idea is not a good one. Part of RvR is map awareness and paying attention. Being able to not pay attention at all and come running when your mobile device goes 'ding' breaks part of the game to me. I would like to be able to see the map as it stands though.

I agree a bit with this. A rally call to players in PvE would be a significant advantage against players who didn't use the app. I would like to see a map of Cyrodiil that updates like every half hour or so, just so I know if I need to help retake a keep or something. Daggerfall has a reputation for making moves while Aldmeri is away.

check out the add on cyrodil alerts. it updates you on your home campaign anywhere in game. tells when a keep is being taken and by who tells when a scroll is grabed or retrieved and where it was taken

Let's hope ZOS focuses on fixing Cyrodiil then gets to the cool stuff. :P

Cyrodiil needs a lot of fixes and NO additional construction sites like an 'app'!

Subscription cancelled due to the following facts:

    - Zenimax implements more bugs from patch to patch
    - Zenimax does not care about the increasing instability of the game. People have more and more crashes Fix of memory bug decreased number of crashes considerably
    - Zenimax has still not fully fixed the fps drops they (!) implemented with patch1.2.3
    - Zenimax does nothing to fix the massive ability lags in PvP
    - Zenimax gives more attention to unnecassary 'content' like dyes for armors than fixing issues
    - In patchnotes Zenimax lies about bugs allegedly fixed
    - Zenimax has no plan as to how balance population in Cyrodiil campaigns
    - Support is ineffective and does not even speak in a way one can linguistically understand
