I got 100 voucher one today... I hate that they put something in game thats not craftable yet and they dont even give us update on WHEN they are gonna DROP from the dungeons.

I pugged scale and FL a bunch lately on my Tank and Healer - just to get a feel for the current ability in Da Q - and most people frankly just don't have it to even complete. Major hang ups are the last boss scale, and the 2nd boss FL.

Cue the crying and whinging and moaning that 'I wasn't even in that!' and 'this is impossible!' and so on.

Seriously, in my 'social/trading' guilds the number of the people complaining that the motifs aren't dropping yet, vs the people who could actually complete the content to get a CHANCE at a drop, let alone HM, is unreal.

However - if they'd even drop at all, at least they'd fetch a pretty penny since the population of average players who can even manage the content is abysmal.

@Wraithlyn No it isn't.

The Fang Lair and Scalecaller Motif chapters and Style Items will begin dropping from their respective dungeons shortly after the launch of Summerset.

I bolded the key words for you. The style has not dropped yet....sadly. I am keeping an eye out for motifs. I am a motif fanatic.

These have been dropping on PC since May 21st while ZoS artificially delayed the launch of the motif to June 27th for no reason.

I mean they technically didn’t say it was going to start dropping in game on the 27th either, just that it “will be” available in game. So for a time, it might be a 5000c Crown Store exclusive motif anyways

Idrc if they released it at launch, next week, or 2019. I just wish that, having announced it in the patch notes (and CS showcase), they’d give us an actual date instead of vague terms referencing an undefined time in the future.

Just do what I did.

Accept the quest. Then abandon it because you cant complete it and that it is both un-ethical and moronic to release things tied to motifs that haven't even been released. Take these complaints to ZOS. Get credited with the vouchers you would've got if you'd done the writ without even using any mats.

Turned out to be a win for me!

I have 5 Master Writs saved now that I can't do while waiting on "Shortly".
So for PC, "shortly" means 34 days? Really?
The fact that no one will respond to us on this shows the NEW ZoS direction for ESO....
"Crown Store is now most important aspect of ESO and In-Game items will now be dependent on Crown Store availability FIRST!"
And, hey! Let's drop the Writs in game so no one can complete them and cause even more confusion! Great Idea Marketing!

Makes me think they are rushing some areas and letting other things be overlooked, hoping the community would find what they overlooked but all the while not have time to fix some things we do bring up.

Great find!

PC-NA here and the motifs haven't started dropping yet.

It seems they might when the motifs are added to the Crown Store on the 27th.

Still, prior to this update motifs were not added to Master Writs until the following update which allowed us crafters a couple months to collect the new motifs before needing them for Master Writs.
