Less flashy neon clear mounts please..

It would be nice to get some classic looking war horses or similar types of mounts..
like skulls hanging off them and furs on them and more barbaric type of armors and themes..
i see a lot of these magical mounts but not a lot of to traditional types..

    totally agree. mounts with some realistic, solid structure and detail in the fur/skin etc would be nice instead of these transparent type of mounts that all seem the same now

    one of the reasons my main char will use frostbane sabre cat for a very long time. the frostbane ones were some of the best they’ve come out with for a while

    like i’d much rather get the black lion mount from one of the new crates which is a lower tier reward than a freaking Radiant Apex mount because they’re just all transparent and neon :/

    Agree. There are too many Disney fantasy mounts. More realistic and lore-appropriate ones would be nice.
    One of my favorite mounts is the Witch Knight Charger horse, because it's both realistic and lore-appropriate, as well as beautifully detailed. More like that, please.

    i saw a wicked looking polar bear mount the other day, it had cool saddle and bags on it and a bit of armor on it, i didn't get to ask which mount it was though

    Check out a website that shows all the mounts and you will find that there are a lot of traditional mounts. If you're seeing a lot of "magical mounts" it's because that's what people are choosing to use. Which seems to suggest a lot of people like them. Me included.

    this is interesting to me..
    as a traditional elderscrolls fan i have no interest in these magical type mounts..
    what makes you more interested in these unusual looking alien mounts compared to a traditional mount?

    I'd much rather there be multiple variants of the same Horse, Senche, or Wolf. Like different armors, harnesses, fur patterns etc. But as long as they remain the same believable animal that they are. Even for me, the Frostbane mounts are pushing it.

    There are so many hideous looking mounts out there now with gratuitous effects that just don't animate well in-game. Seems they are popular though.

    Well its a game with Magic and Conjuration, why shouldnt there be flashy magic mounts. I generally use flashy/ Magical mounts on my magicka characters and non magical on my stamina characters.
    The Frostbane mounts did have a barbaric look to them which i really liked.

    I like the new exemplar mounts. For a Templar, who fights with beams of Aedric light, and is a member of the Psijic Order, they fit perfectly. :smile: I see them fitting only one (or maybe two, I haven't figured out about Oioriel yet) of my characters, though.

    Main and crafter: A Breton magicka templar named Erwann Sorril
    Alt 1: A Bosmer sorcerer named Tuuneleg

    Did you play the previous games?

    I'm not sure how anyone would conflate the current plague of flashy mounts with everlasting particle effects with what we saw in previous incarnations of Tamriel.

    How do you feel about the Indrik mounts that were datamined? they arent flashy/ glowing. they are just weird time deer/ horse/ feathery unicorn thingys
