We need more solo "skill" based achievements like Flawless Conquerer title

I didn't have to pay for mine. But I've heard of people giving their account details to people who can clear it and paying them gold to do it. Sounds risky to me but some people think the title is worth something.....

Seirously though if people are willing to go that far that they would let someone play on their account does that not show the value of what a title is worth? people can say it has "nothing" but it's evident that it has quite the prestige. I highly doubt this practice is even common to begin with and is just a cheap excuse to accuse them of having something you don't have. Sure you'll get bad players who will buy their titles and devalue others achievements but what about the people who got it legitimately? I could say the same thing about people who have Tamriel Hero and say their account was bought but why do players not? because titles like Tamriel Hero aren't held in the same regard.

You're right but at least it still shows you're capable of learning the mechanics, prioritising threats, paying attention to multiple things at once and staying focused.0 -

You can't buy a carry for Dromathra Destroyer. Or to be more precise, never heard of anyone selling Dromathra Destroyer Runs.
What is being selled is the Dromathra skin for regular veteran clear.
On the other hand, Dromathra Destroyer title needs you to do more special achievemnts in addition to Hard mode clear. It is not possible to make whole title in a single run.Edited by Olupajmibanan on June 20, 2018 4:50PM0 -

✭✭✭✭✭I’ll agree that flawless doesn’t really mean much these days. I’d rather see a high vMA score to gauge a player’s skill, since that implies they did it with without many deaths, quickly, and without sigils.
That being said, the only accurate way to determine skill level is to run a lot content with someone. Achievements and dummy parses tend to go out the window when some mechanics are introduced.Edited by WrathOfInnos on June 20, 2018 5:37PM0 -

Yeah it’s not exactly solo, but it’s based on solo performance anyways. And ugh, I cannot tell you how many chaosball games I’ve thrown from just hunting enemy ball carriers to get this achievement. Definitely one that feels like an accomplishment once it’s done, even though it’s possible to earn the same achievement against less skilled players so how much skill it requires is variable.0 -

To those of you who can run vMA - many of these Vet Dungeons are really not as tough as you think. They are also the only fights that don’t feel like you need pure DPS to win. Lots of mechanics need to be followed and it’s a lot of fun!3 -
WatchYourSixx✭✭✭✭@kts I don't know if it's been said before, but there are some achievements in dlc dungeons that if you follow the mechanics properly you will get them, but your group members won't if they didn't follow mechanics. Doing less than 15% of the group damage as a dps in FG1 gets you the title Side of Fries.
Dying twice on the final boss in Blessed Crucible by falling in the lava grants you the title Baked Potato.
Get all 3 titles and you simply earn the title Potato. I'd finally have a title worth wearing.3 -

There’s a handful of mechanics that make certain dungeons unsoloable, or certain trials unable to be completed except with twelve people in group. Change those if more than one player (or four for trials) are in group. So much solo content is created this way. The loot can also be dramatically increased to reflect effort.
This would be so cool imo.1
