Login Rewards for Steam Players?

Just curious if there are plans to compensate for this issue or grant rewards somehow. It seems odd to me to introduce this new feature and have its first cycle interrupted for many players by such a huge problem. I'd be rather upset to miss out on free crates, particularly if I wasn't able to afford them normally. It's kind of funny that we get login rewards and suddenly a huge portion of players can't reliably log in.

I'm not affected myself because my account predates steam and I can just log in via the exe. I'm just curious.

They did compensate Steam users for missing a day from the crate promotion event. So there's hope.

Well, I hope nobody loses so many login days to miss the final monthly reward. In that case a single crate would be a petty relief.

20 rewards over 25 days..that's what June was for daily login rewards.

Thankfully I haven't experienced any issues with Steam and am up-to-date with the login rewards (being a parent to twin babies means I login at nap-time, not prime time), but it really sucks for those players who have been having issues.
