How to make pledges more popular, like before the golden and trait change existed

Before i even start i want to make clear that this threat is not claiming pledges are unpopular or not done or it is hard to find a group to do them. What this threat is designed to do is to bring back the popularity that pledges had before the addition of the weekly golden vendor and trait change, both things which i lept with joy for and support.

If either undaunted keys could be TRADED BETWEEN PLAYERS allowing for an incentive for players to do Pledges as they can pass on their keys if they dont need stuff ORRRRR you are able to trade the shoulder that you unlock in the chest with people you did the dungeon with. The key from the pledges would have a 2 hour time cap on it like dungeon loot allowing it to be traded or the item unlocked from it to be traded to another player similar to the loot drop system currently in place.

THis would encourage people to once more flood to the undaunted unclaves and go into the dungeons of tamriel oncemore as now they can either get a bit of gold possibly for their troubles, give their shoulder to a friend who needs it as you where looking for something else or if you have nice guild mates/friends will come along with you to help gear you, allowing for those friendly guilds who help players learn the game and progress are able to help them gear up quickly and avoid the annoyance of having multiple shoulders of the exact trait and weight.

WHILE you may say this will cause a flood of people to go to the undaunted enclave and reduce the input of people taking part if it is faster to get what you need with friendly people, there is still the need for undaunted 9 or 10 if you want the title that many people will need to do and to avoid spam farming or selling of keys ect people would have an account cap of 2 traded items per day.

    I feel like a better solution would be to add an incentive to the chests. Since Summerset, one of the only reasons to loot undaunted chests is for the chance for the exemplary harmony jewelery, but once you have those it's more of the same, and many people had hundreds of keys saved before Summerset dropped.

    A better incentive might be to add one random piece of gear from the dungeons that the chest is for, with a decent chance for both it and the shoulders to be gold. I would be FAR more willing to drop my keys on a chest for the chance to get a gold Ebon Necklace than I would be to buy the platings or farm nodes for the chance to get the dust.

    Even for people who have all of their gear gold, the chance to get gold mats for selling or hoarding might still be enough incentive.

    I like your concept of better end game progression for dungeons, but don't think is the way. Currently chests rewards gold, soul gem shoulder piece with chance at motifs or ring for jelwey crafting. The current system is quite fair just interest in content has diminished or so I seen

    It’s about time they introduce the data-mined Monster head and shoulder pieces as outfit drops by finishing the corresponding daily dungeons. I have a feeling they sell it as a feature in the next dungeon DLC pack.

    Pledges are just a waste of time unless you need a monster mask.

    With the chance to exchange loot, retrait it, improve it and now essentially craft anything, there is no need to get there. Not even farming crystals since more often than not the random people you play with are wrong and you waste way more time than a normal trial run,

    Have the pledge award more crystals. Or have the pledge award an extra coffer with another item pertaining to the dungeon. For example completion of a Fungal pledge would award a coffer with either a ring or a weapon from that dungeon's sets.

    I just enjoy team play with randoms. Good, bad, doesn't matter, except fake ones and 10k hp players (i hate them even stronger than fakes).

    I think Hard Mode pledges should give us a chance to get gold jewelry instead of purple.
    As for chests idea of adding one purple or gold gear from that dungeon is really great as well. But it won't happen because it will render jewelcrafting a bit useless in my opinion.

    Last idea is to put something else such as random jewelry trait stones or plates in the chests.

    ngl if i could sell keys i'd do pledges on all my chars
    as it is right now they're all specced as crafters and seeing no pve action whatsoever

    Sure because FG1 HM is really hard. Not to mention the fact that you can jump down the water and get to the final boss in like 5 minutes.
