Patched, now the play button wont even work. Same issue from 2014?

The launcher went to patch today and fails and tells me to repair. I repair and that doesn't even work. I repeated this about 5 times and I was about to uninstall the game and reinstall. So I then restart the launcher and it is fine. I go to click the play button and nothing. Wasn't this a issue back in 2014? If so why is it still present today?

Valixx✭✭Update: I left the launcher up about 10 minuets and could log into the game just fine. I don't know what was going on there.

Cyberwolffe✭✭✭I've been having the same problem. I am able to get into the game running the eso.exe directly, but will try what you did and see if it fixes it for me.0
