Questproblems, how to solve nearly every problem.

So im lvl 13 now and had 4 quests where i had some problems.

I could solve all the problems with an easy trick.

90 % of the questproblems are missing items/npc or not reachable items.

That happens (mostly) when to many players are in the region and they server cant handle them right now.

1. To resolve the problem just log off but dont log in right away, wait 30 seconds, it can happen that you have to repeat that 2-3 times but it works.

But why wait 30 seconds? Because we play in different instances, that means just because the quest is broken right now in instance 1 doesnt mean its broken in instance 2 or 3. So the 30 second are there that your char is really logged of from the server and so its possible that they will put you in a different instance.

2. But there 're other things that you should consider, never log off directly on the spawning point of npc or items, that can lead also to questproblems.

3. Also rushing dialog options, can lead to not updating queststatus, to solve that let the npc atleast finish 2 words befor your skip to the next.

With this 3 little rules i could finish every quest till now.

I hope that this will help some people.

It helped me a few times. Not with all quests, some are truelly bugged. I wish there was a short version of your post that we could copy-paste in the in-game chat every 30 minutes or so. This would lower the amount of repeated questions/complaints in the chat. Then again, players have to follow the chat which might be the biggest problem.... ;)

My question is this, were you able to get passed the Westtry bug, or the Redoubt quest line (killing the daedric entity) in this manner? I tried it earlier and had no luck for most of the day. But those were the only issues I had throughout Glenumbra.

You finished "Ghosts of Westtry"? Really? By doing the aforementioned steps? Did you have trouble with it in the first place or did you have to do these steps for that particular quest?

I'm asking in all seriousness because this quest has been a thorn at my side (being a completionist and whatnot and I would like to get it out of the way. So if you're saying you had trouble with it and fixed it by this method I will by all means try it.

Yes i could finish it, but i think i was quite lucky and it took me 3 complete new tries.

Well, in the event that they did not address it in this massive keelhaul they're cooking up (and it looks like they didn't from the patch notes), I'm going to try out this method.

He might be on to something regarding the loading and conversations. Has anyone who has listened to all the dialogues had any issues with quests?

What do you mean "3 complete new tries"? Do you mean you did the logging out trick 3 times? I want to be clear on this because I don't want someone else to think, "Oh, I'll abandon the quest and start over" because once you abandon a quest, I don't think you CAN start over. You couldn't in BETA anyway.

I did the relog thing on Ghosts of Westry and the Kill the Daedra/Talisman quest soooo many times and it never worked. I finally got through the Daedra one by being lucky enough to go to the quest marker (at level 18) to check if the quest was fixed after yesterday's server downtime. It wasn't fixed for me ( no ability to interact with the well) but another player was there and he summoned the daedra. I helped kill the mob and THAT updated the quest for me so I could move forward.

I abandoned and restarted the quest about 4 times in an attempt to complete it, each time starting the quest from Leon at a different location (as he spawns in like 5 different location around the town of westtry). So I'm pretty sure you can get the quest back when you drop it.

i restarted the quest 3 times and in between i relogt quite often, and on the third try i run in and the conversation started.
