Funny how OP says basically, 'this post is only for disgruntled Steam players' but yet the title mentions nothing about being meant for 'Steam Players Only' thus it's fair game for EVERYONE... not like anything posted on the forums isn't already anyway, but still.

Yeah, normally I wouldn't complain. Game still runs off eso64 (better than through Steam to be honest) but I can imagine for a lot of players this is just a little too much and too often. We have been having problems with steam for a while now and still waiting for some sort of solution?

If everyone were to cancel over issues like this, they'll be no one playing the game - no revenue and why would f2p buy anything really. Learn2Dealwithit, it's a fact of life for any game.

I always buy games in such a way that it will need only one DRM/Launcher even if it is more expensive.

But I feel bad for steam players nonetheless. Until it is fixed then write one complain in a normal tone each 5-6 hours it is down, between them enjoy the ofline world or other wonderful games. If you stress about it more you just doing damage to yourself.

Steam is favorable to me for a few reasons despite the more frequent downtime. Consider asking for Steam gift cards as gifts. They can be found in many stores and even non-technical friends and family can manage it. It also gives you options. If you have money in your steam account that money is not locked into ESO. If they quit coming out with things you want to buy, your money is not wasted. You have many other options.

Being an original beta tester, I also have a non-steam account. Of course I always retreat to this account when there are issues but most of the time any new money for the game goes into Steam first.

Came to see why ESO+ should be "annuled" (I don't think that means what you think it means...)

(I sympathise with Steam users, this is a giant cluster, but yelling randomly at the devs isn't a basis for a constructive discussion.)
