Yes, I realized that not every class plays the same. BUT if the game was BALANCED, then it wouldn't matter what class you played. So, if you are saying it matters, than you are saying that the game/classes are not balanced.

So nothing to do with points then after all.
It isn't a question of whether someone gets it or not, we all get that some players believe that they are doing everything in a game themselves, while other players believe that they're merely controlling their characters. The way to resolve such differences is to provide a system that caters for both approaches, as has already been suggested here, rather than trying to favour one approach at the expense of the other. Either that, or retain the existing system which provides a fair balance between the approaches.
