Championship points: can they be automatically allotted, without knowledge or; manually only?

Asinine question; but started new character and decided to learn 'trade-craft' from level 1-49; without championship points: not too sure when but showed points available. Am currently at level 14 and have been awarded two further championship points through main character: Only to find points have been allotted...Have had no reason to do so; and know did not do so: So how?

I'm confused.

All champion points on your account are going the be available for all your characters, whether you use them or not.

But they are not going to automatically get assigned to a star (they will only show as 'available' under a set of constellations.

So if you had, say, 300 champion points, your character that isn't using any will show 100/100/100. If you earned 2 more points, it will show 101/101/100. But those are not assigned. If you assign all of them they won't be available anymore.

No the main character is level 50 with 145 championship points: Have distributed these for that character.

Now started anew for Summerset; and decided to wait to achieve level 50 for this character before using championship points: Currently at level 14; 143 of the points have some how been assigned to this new character.

That is very interesting. What stars have they been assigned to?

OK. First all characters can use CPs in your case. So they show up in the screen for your alts too. So they are availible for your Alts. However until you actually choose a star and put some points into it, they are not assigned to your Alt.

CP is never assisnged without the player doing it, so at some point you allocated points

Another anomaly: Just leveled-up to 15; every-time try to assign one handed weapon to main hand back-up: It unequips the main hand and weapon swap disabled.

Re-equip main hand with one handed weapon(these are different weapons); unequips main hand backup?

Did hard-exit through 'Home' and context-menu 'Quit': Reloaded from app-screen; into inventory. Reloaded main hand; main hand back-up stayed equip?
