Anyone have any build suggestions? Running IC is one of my favorite things to do

Do you have a preferred weapon type? Stam sorc leans pretty heavily on weapon skills for damage output.

Also, what do you mean by pvp/pve? Pvp builds tend to be quite different from their pve counterparts, so it may help if you provided a bit more detail as to what you're planning on doing in IC.

He means IC boss farming, which is PvE. First thing I'll say is, play in a CP campaign. No CP is painful (tedious), since damage is much lower, and you have to go very tanky to melee the bosses. Even in CP being tanky makes solo boss fights easier. I am personally a fan of medium armor for the higher sprint speed and roll dodge / skill cost reduction. I'd recommend medium Fortified Brass for tankiness that will work in PvE as well as PvP (unlike Impregnable). I've also used Leki's in the past, since it helps reduce boss AOE damage, but one defensive set is probably enough. Of course, Imperial Physique is good for any build, if you feel confident enough.

In general you can never go wrong with Shacklebreaker, which is kind of a mini Imperial Physique (minus the health). Blood Spawn, Velidreth, and Selene are all good monster helm options, as would be the ubiquitous 1x Domihaus + A.N.Other. If you like to run Forward Momentum instead of Rally, then Troll King is a good option.

Dual-wield / bow would be the setup for the most PvE damage, but also the squishiest. That said Dual-wield offers Blade Cloak for boss AOE damage reduction. Using Bloodthirst as a spammable heals you and helps with face-tanking bosses, whereas Shrouded Daggers is a fantastically efficient skill for taking out the 3 flag guards in one go. You drink an Immov pot, plant yourself in front of the tanky front guard and spam it. Keep them in triangle formation and Velidreth will hit them perfectly too. Shrouded is also nice when your opponent is highly mobile, trying to back off or blend into NPCs.

2H is hard to get away from, due to Rally and Forward Momentum. I find snare removal invaluable. Reverse Slice is an execute and AOE rolled into one. Efficient use of bar space, and great to take out mobs. People slot Dizzying Swing for the stun, but I believe it's hard to land. Hate skills with a cast time, although it combos well with Dawnbreaker.

Outside of a Snipe build, bow stands out for Poison Injection. Place that on a target first, then move in to try and burst them, for example with a Dizzying / Ultimate combo.

1H + S is obviously good to make you tanky. You can do good damage, if you have a good Light Attack / Ransack / Bash rotation. Heroic Slash and Reverb Bash are also commonly used in PvP, as is the ulti.

A typical build will incorporate Crit Surge, Hurricane, Streak, Dark Deal, Resolving Vigor and Dawnbreaker of Smiting.

For IC you definitely want Imperial Physique (go for 5-1-1 setup for max stats) and perhaps shacklebreaker to amplify it even further. As for monster mask, this will depend on whether you want to use VMA, VDSA weapons etc. but I'd suggest something offensive since you'll have plenty of defense to begin with.

If you're comfy running with 10k+ Telvars at all times of course.

Some people run around in Imperial Physique all the time, but you'll want to have some 1vX skill or be part of a group. I think the set is particularly good on magsorcs or any shielding build for that matter. For a stamsorc I am less sure. I typically carry it in my inventory, because once you have farmed 10K Tel Var, it is by far the best set for IC. I usually don't start out with it, though.

I run Troll King + Shacklebreaker + Imperial Physique and while there are much faster ways to solo the Bosses this is a very safe setup when encountering the occasional group of potatoes and you have a good chance at escaping a group of good players using the large magicka pool for streak and a speed pot. Can do Molag Bal in solo/duo too.
