why i cant see my friends . they are invisible.

hi. i try to do this quest with my friends. quest: Anchors from the Harbour:Enter doshias lair. but when i enter i cant see my friends cause they are invisible and its to hard killing doshia alone. also i dont know why when i equip a head armor i cant see it too. please help

    Sorry to say this but you can only play solo in the main quest,And most guild quests :/

    I think its stupid how Doshia is obviously designed to be beaten with a group but you can only play solo..... Such a shame with the forcing solo content.
    But well,Theres still alot to do with friends. And you will beat her when you reach higher levels

    Have your friends already done the quest @Motomoto‌?

    There are times when different areas in the game are phased which means they are different depending on what you have done. If your friends have already cleared doshias lair when they enter it will be empty for them and they will be in a different instance to you. I am hopeful that ZOS can do something which will enable players to jump instances to help friends they are grouped with complete quests they have already done but unfortunately this is not currently the case.

    The only suggestions I can make to help you complete it are to seek some help from people who have not yet done the quest or to do something else until you reach a level that you can solo the quest.

    I was not aware it was only a solo quest. See the answer @Snowstrider posted.

    There is an option in the menu's to Hide your head armor. Cant remember where it is but just untick it :)

    Doshia is obviously designed as a solo boss! The orb mechanic would be trivial for a group.
