This is getting to be ridiculous. This is the second time in the span of a week that there has been an issue for Steam Clients logging in. It took me two days the last time to get back on. I had to re install everything. For those of us that have limited time to play this is inconvenient. It would be greatly appreciated if the Maintennce of the game was dealt with in better fashion.

This problem means, ifI have to re install again, that I will be losing two day of game play as the work week starts tomorrow and I won't have time to deal with it. Thanks Zos for the great entertainment

I think Zenimax should take us off the Steam authentication services. It's WAY less inconvenient to log in from inside the game than to wait for the auth servers to come back online.

I understand that people are frustrated... but if you see a flood of posts on the front page about this issue, and you see a bright red bar at the top of the page addressing the issue... maybe don't start a new topic on it.

I swear its every new steam update.

I am pretty certain my game crashed yesterday as soon as there was a new steam update.

Zenimax posted the same thing last week. They never told us what the problem was. Only that they knew about it. The threads you see are not about that. It's about the frustration of having to deal with them on an almost weekly basis. If any Steam user has an active subscription to ESO, then they are well within their right to vent. These issues are not the quality of service we expect from an AAA publisher.

That said, Zenimax could resolve this if they moved Steam accounts temporarily off Valve's auth servers and over to theirs. Yes, it's inconvenient to have to log in from inside the game, but I think anyone would take that over having to wait hours or days for the auth server to come back online.

The problem is buying the game and expansions though.. it costs twice as much in stores than it does on steam not to mention sales on top of that.
