Why spend 30 dollars when you can wait for a proc version of time stop to freeze entire zergs for you. Nice job ZOS
Kinda a double edged sword though cause it can happen to you too, great idea going back to morrowinds roots of having spells fail (with the addition of backfiring) really adds to the RP element

Just because it doesn't happen for you doesn't mean it doesn't happen to other people.
It also depends on what platform you play on; console is getting it WAY worse, especially in Cyrodill. You need only take a cursory glance over the forum pages to find multiple reports of these issues, many with video evidence (of the mass freezings and other glitches).
I don't usually have any problems myself, but ever since Summeset I've been plagued with an 'autorun' feature that will keep me walking forward long after I've stopped pressing W, with no way to stop it (I can't press S to stop it, hit escape, and even if I dodge-roll, once I come out of the roll I'm still going forward until the game decides that I'm done walking). I've crashed out of pledges for no reason other than the game just wants to disconnect out. I've had infinite loading screens (in a couple pledges, EVERYONE in the party got hit with infinite loading screens and it can screw the party up and make people leave thinking everyone else is offline when they get back on).
Then there's the beautiful Steam issue that so many people are getting where they can't even log in. This is not the first time it's cropped up, either.
There ARE game-breaking issues. You're lucky if you aren't seeing them, but for the NUMEROUS amounts of people who do, they are serious problems and need to be addressed. No one plays a game to sit and be frustrated by countless bugs and errors interrupting their playtime.PC NA

@Arobain I play on console, it is nearly impossible to play for more than half an hour without lagging out in pvpNerf mudcrabs0 -
