So with the new scoring system where a scroll is worth 10 times more than a keep, the scoring balance in PvP is completely broken.
For example, when the last campaign reset on EU PC sotha sil, DC PvDoored all keeps with Scrolls and temples at the start of the campaign. Put them in 3-4 keeps and waited. They haven't moved from those keeps for 2-3 days. The new scroring gave them at the start 7000 points head start, which in the end turned to around 11000 points.
So basically, for a faction to win the campaign now all it takes is to hoard the Scrolls for a few days at the start and the remaining factions will never be able to catch up with the points.
I'm by no means salty about DC winning a campaign, but what's the point trying for the remaining 20-25 days if maths is against you?
I miss the times where faction lead would change nearly every day, giving us an actual reason to capture keeps. Now a couple of days into the new campaign and the 1st place is set in stone.
Who's idea was it that instead of doing actual PvP to win we should turtle up with the Scrolls? Is this the solution to poor game performance? To make sure there is less battles going on? What is up with that?
