Fang Lair and Scalecaller Motifs, when will they be available?

Master Writs are building up in my bank for these motifs and it must be the same for many players now.

So please ZOS, what is the timescale for their introduction to the game?

By the time they are introduced in the Crown Store. End of June.

I was pretty outspoken on this. I was positive they had a reasonable timetable for “shortly”. It looks like I was wrong.

It’s now 11 days since launch. And 11 days until they hit the crown store. Closer to two weeks than one.

From a certain point of view ‘shortly’ could be 75% of a month, like the stretch from the 5th to the 27th that it looks like we are getting. Just like from a certain point of view darth vader killed anakin. I don’t think either of those mental gymnastics hold up with most people though.

So for PC, "shortly" means 34 days? Really?
The fact that no one will respond to us on this shows the NEW ZoS direction for ESO....
"Crown Store is now most important aspect of ESO and In-Game items will now be dependent on Crown Store availability FIRST!"
And, hey! Let's drop the Motifs in game so no one can complete them and cause even more confusion! Great Idea Marketing!

@ZOS_GinaBruno , can we get some official update on this or are we at the will of the "Marketing Dept" and have to wait till 27th?
(I still think we should get triple vouchers for the writs we can't complete...hehe)..

The motif is being released on crown store on June 27th. It should also be available in game after this date.

The Fang Lair Crafting Motif will be available in the Crown Store on all platforms starting on June 27. Please note that this Crafting Motif will also be available by completing Fang Lair Dungeon content via the in-game Activity Finder.

I will just keep stacking up these Master Writs for a couple more weeks but then of course I will still need to get the motif ...

Ya they are doing this to entice more people to spend actual money instead of grinding them in the dungeons and by doing so they are taking advantage of everyone who is impatient or poor in ESO since those people would rather buy it with real money. I think this a shady move as *** becuase they know how much people hate grinding so they are trying to make dirty money off of it, which is *** ridiculous. Instead of putting the motifs out and letting people grind them for 3 weeks and then putting them on the store for people to buy, but that's not the ZOS way. *** disgusting imo

I don’t think it would have even been a problem if they released the crown store motifs along with dungeon motifs on launch day. IMO it’s more irritating that we’re waiting 6 weeks after launch for the dungeon motifs so they can be synchronized with the crown store schedule, especially when Master Writs have been requiring unobtainable styles.

Someone at ZOS marketing thinks that trickling out items like this will maximize sales, for whatever reason.

Well and what’s weird with that too is they have the motifs in the CS starting on a Wednesday. I could be wrong on this, but never in recent memory have they released new CS items on a Wednesday. It always seems to be Thursday, save for the Summerset items which launched with Summerset. Idk what it means, but it makes the whole situation even more bizarre lol

Also remember to be submitting bug reports for the first boss in FL so hopefully it’s fixed by the time we can start farming these motifs.
