Tired of the random disconnects, huge lag spikes, bars not swapping, skills not going off, etc. Would appreciate a somewhat in depth response, explanation, and time line for getting it fixed at this point.

They should change the rotating ESO icon in the bottom right corner of the loading screen to a rotating infiity symbol as it would be more appropriate.

    Depends on the issue.
Loading screens are annoying but not game breaking.
I'd say yes tho, cause there are many game breaking bugs (especially in cyrodill) and they've been there forever

Considering this isn't a F2P game, hell yes. The revenue tail ZOS must have is probably quite large between base game, DLCs, expansion, Clown Crates and other such thing... large enough that it makes no sense they aren't deploying hotfixes within days of discovering issues...

I guess I'm just accustomed to Warframe, which is F2P and yet hotfixes within an hours notice sometimes :s

I dc'd 3 times in about ten minutes in Cyro after nearly an hour wait in the queue.

The only upside was that when I logged back in I was still in Cyro. That said, the second time I logged back into Sej surrounded by maybe 40 AD - they weren't there when I crashed.

At least they got a laugh and some AP I guess. :)

It's ridiculous - basically unplayable due to faults in the game.

Of course, this needs some urgent attention.

A "no" vote because "urgency" isn't always the best way to go about fixing things. Plus fixes in code this complex can be a real long term project.

I'd rather they took their time and got it right.

fix fps performance in alinor and some other places, since we had summerfest its a fps drop almost everywhere not to mention bg's

    pre summerfest > 70 fps
post summerfest > 30 fps in bg's | 30 fps in alinor. Ultra shadows and overall quality

When some garbage Loli F2P game like TERA or that other rubbish one with gods can manage several console betas and a humongous and financially solvent institution like ZOS can’t, there is an issue with either the engine or the people handling it. If this were any other IP no one would be playing this game.

No new content = no new players = less income = fewer developers = more bugs.

I think fixing bugs shouldn't be the highest priority, but it's need to be done, and ZOS is doing it (multhreading improvements since Summerset etc...). People needs to be more patient, they don't have a clue what maintaining a MMO really mean.

Yup and things break all the time in MMOs. It's not like there is EVER going to be a "finished product". That's the realm of stand-alone stuff (and even then...). Every time the code gets touched in a complex program like this, there's the chance things will go wonky.

There are MMOs that have been out for nigh unto 20 years that still have bugs.

So, I'd rather they took their time, got it right and didn't try to rush things and introduce more issues.

I'd like more urgency in the acknowledgement of player concerns, especially bugs. If it takes some time after that to actually implement a fix, that's understandable.

Major performance and engine changes should never be combined with major new content release.
They should be released separately in smaller patches so if a major bug occurs the smaller patch can be rolled back, fixed and run through testing again before release. But hey that just the old school way I was taught.

Exactly. This happened after Morrowind, this happened after CWC. We know they are going to fix it, but having zero acknowledgement from them is frustrating. Let your community know what's going on when you know everyone is getting restless. "Sorry guys, we understand this sucks and we have resources dedicated to getting this resolved as soon as we can."

There is no other mainstream MMO with this level of disconnects, huge number of bugs, and overall poor performance. Not one. ESO is supposed to be "MMO of the Year". This talk of "we don't know what goes on in development" is obtuse. That is not a reasonable explanation for this level of poor performance. It's bad..plain and simply bad. It's one thing if most of the issues only happened to a few people infrequently. Instead they are happening to many of us every single day, and almost constantly. No reasonable excuse has been given. It is unreasonable.

Think about how much money they make off this game

Now think about how cheap and lazy ZOS is with potentially game breaking issues

Makes you want to hate them doesn't it?
