So maybe I'm just being nit-picky...but am I the only one who finds it hard to play a game that freezes for 5 seconds every 20 seconds? And then end up flying across the screen doing commands I did not do?
So what in the name of Nirn happened with this "upgrade?" How does a paid $25 "upgrade" do this much damage to a game?

Actually_Goku✭✭✭✭No, fair call. The servers have been overloaded since Summerset launch. I only go on to do research, and get mats until it dies down a little - which obviously I should not have to do. But the game is unplayable in its current state.0 -

Its the severs as well. The stutter may be a problem, it'll get fixed. Check my sig for my post about how awful the servers are now.

But yeah, it's not good. The freezes don't happen for me too often fortunately; the stuttering after fast travelling is much more frequent.

✭✭✭✭✭There was a stutter bug that was fixed on PC shortly before the console launch. I think it's possible it hasn't been fixed on consoles yet.
With that said, the stutter bug is only part of the problem. Summerset introduces even more global art assets (meaning they can be used anywhere as opposed to zone specific art assets) which means that the game has to be aggressive in asset management. This causes stutter as assets are cycled in and out of memory as the characters around you change.0 -

I'm getting the stutter in Deshaan, and other base zones. Which are currently less populated than usual because of Summerset.
So much for all the PC players who keep saying "we're the beta testers for consoles"... We still get all the bugs you guys get 2 weeks before us.
