Cyrodiil performance and ZOS continued silence

It is appalling that you take our money and say nothing about the performance in Cyrodiil. Since Summerset the performance is markedly worse. To all our brothers on consoles ....... I feel your pain.

    "Continued Silence"?

Every single update, every single patch notes thread, every single month of every single year ZOS mentions the struggles of PVP performance, and gives us insight into what they do to attempt fixing it.

Are they succeeding? Hell no they aren't.

But it's not for lack of trying. And they are absolutely not silent about the issue.

We had one single patch where pvp especially Cyrodiil was touched as a point in the patch notes and that was summerset.
Just watch the Fengrush clips about the patch notes.
Performance got worse in less than one year i went from not playing due to lag maybe 2-3 days a month to playing 2-3 days because it's not playable the other days

I dont play weekends anymore, I dont play after noon anymore and im starting to think about just putting the game on the shelf for a longer period of time. The game is simply too laggy to enjoy (pvp)

As for console, they have responded to the threads saying that they will try to fix it next week's patch.

Have to dis agree, there have been numerous threads since Summerset dropped. The lag and play-ability in Cyrodiil is appalling. Complete lack of recognition of how bad it is. No statement about that, apparently all is well. ZOS has a long history of stating that there will be performance improvements and we have a long experience of seeing performance not only not improve but get worse.

I never was one to whine about performance in pvp.

Until Summerset launch, I was content with Cyrodiil performance. I played Vivec when it was playable and when the lag was too much, I moved to Shor. Shor was pretty dead during the week, but then again I mostly played on weekends anyways.

But now Vivec performance is awful even at low population and Shor is dead most of the time. When Shor isn't dead, it's probably lagging. It seems to me like a lot of players already avoid Cyro nowadays, but oddly enough, performance is still way worse than one patch ago.

Idk haven't even entered Vivec for like 2 weeks. BGs and PvE for me now. :/

The mods are active enough to jump in threads and [snip] stuff they've deemed offensive or unrelated. But they aren't well informed enough to offer feedback on actual in-game issues.

Every update makes it easier to see where their development efforts are focused. It's not PvP, and until they figure out how to monetize Cyrodiil, it never will be.
