how many times can an item be transmute?

    While I have not change a trait more than once I have not heard of any limit. Would not make sense to have a limit.

    EDIT: If you are on PC you can use the PTS to test.

    Just keep in mind that after transmutation, item becomes bound to account.
    Why walk when you can ride?
