Obscenely long load screens

Just started today that logging in or going between zones/instances takes a huge amount of time. Before the worst time was 2 or 3 minutes. Now if the game doesn't load in 10 min I shut it down from Task Manager.

Roxxsmom✭✭✭Over the past couple of days I've had randomly long load screens, lasting until I give up and shut the program down with task manager. I haven't noticed it yet with dungeons, but I've noticed it is particularly bad going through portals from Artaeum into quest-specific areas or between Artaeum and Summerset,. I also had some very long loading screen zoning from my Twin Arches home into Bangkorai, lasting several minutes (I gave it ten minutes the first time) forcing me to use the task manager to close the program.
30 sec to one min load times are the very longest I've seen before yesterday, and generally they are shorter. Some still are quite short. The problem seems pretty random.
I'm playing on a MS windows 10 64 bit computer with an intel core i7 8700k processor (6 core), with a GTX1070 Ti video card, and 16 GB of RAM. I don't think it's my internet connection, because my husband is playing right next to me on an older, slower machine (a Mac), and he's not having the same issue at the moment. My internet download speed is currently around 22 Mbps. and my upload speed is currently 2 Mbps.Edited by Roxxsmom on June 13, 2018 9:28PM0
